Mike Pence.
Interesting. What is it about his policies that you like?
Small government. States' rights. And he's closer to being a true conservative as opposed to the Neocons that we saw in the GOP throughout the 1980's, 1990's and 2000's, and in the Democratic establishment from Bush onward.
Oh, and he'd be the only one who could stop Hillary. Johnson and Stein don't have a chance.
As it stands, I am voting for Johnson (likely).
Ah okay, my bad. I took your political lean at face value.

Didn't you have your lean as "very conservative" earlier today? I think he's a lot more real about his lean than you were.
Is he? Personally, I think Pence is an...odd...choice for a left leaning libertarian. But whatevs.
I'm not a fan of Pence. But a Pence v. Clinton race would be in the league of planets in its superiority to our current - repugnant - matchup.
Yeah, but so is Clinton.

So he doesn't pass your lefty cred test, huh? Acknowledge Hillary is also deeply flawed and that must mean his lean is a lie.
I've never gotten a dishonest vibe from him.
Neither have I gotten the impression that he's really thought through his political philosophy.
Really? You weren't suggesting dishonesty or deception on his part by saying how you were wrong to take his lean at face value? If you can't take his claim at "face value" what do you think that means?
But, at the same time, you more often than not seem to just toe the party line. I mean, that's not exactly difficult.
Matching the policies of the candidate with my own values (and as close to my political lean as is reasonable) is just something that works for me personally. If Azzorbikstan is still on a path of political self discovery then that's great. I'm sorry if that's upsetting to you.
A poll went up today asking if members thought Trump would drop out of the race over his lewd remarks scandal.
If he did, it is possible the GOP would nominate Pence, since he is already on the ticket and would not require a major modification on State Ballots.
Would he be a more acceptable candidate for #NeverTrumpers?
Would those of you who chose Hillary as the "lesser of two evils" still vote for her then?
How about those of you preferring third party candidates over Trump or Hillary?
So if this actually occurred, who would you vote for?
Pence? Hillary? Johnson? Stein? Other? Or not voting no matter what?
It's interesting to watch this. You saying you'd actually vote for any Repub over Hillary apparently means you're stated lean is a lie. FWIW, I think you're actually pretty consistent. I don't think you have much use for either party or their respective candidates.
"Azzorbikstan". Cute. Seem taking you at any kind of face value is also full of peril.
He has a pathology about Clinton. He'd vote for Pat Buchanan over her, I think he may actually think Clinton murdered Vince Foster. Still not quite sure how you go from Sanders to Pence on an policy level, but hey.
Its actually the exact opposite. Up until 2016, I was a staunch card-carrying Liberal who supported Democrats his whole life. Obviously now, I'm not so sure about that anymore - the Democratic Party isn't the same one it was during the Bush and Obama Admins.Neither have I gotten the impression that he's really thought through his political philosophy.
Yep. Sanders to Trump to Pence. A perfectly logical progression, that.
