"But Trump didn't actually do anything!"If it became known that Trump knew about Epstein's crimes but did nothing, would you still support him?
I voted yes but not for the reasons you wanted in your poll.If it became known that Trump knew about Epstein's crimes but did nothing, would you still support him?
Except that's not what happened.I voted yes but not for the reasons you wanted in your poll.
Everyone in the New York liberal scene knew about Epstein and his island hide out.
Trump back in the day Trump was a democrat and rubbed shoulder with a lot of New York democrats just as Bill Clinton and other prominent democrats did. I am sure the last administration had access to all the Epstein files so why didn't they do something then? Because the Epstein files would have exposed a lot of prominent democrats That's why.
Epstein first trail back in 2005 for having sex with minors went nowhere when Epstein lawyer up with some high profile liberal New York lawyers.
So you would be a little cautious about who you are pointing fingers at.
Now to the heart of the matter...Trump wanted transparency so he wanted the files released and he stated so publicly, but a federal judge ruled that the grand jury transcript can not be unsealed.
End of story.
So old wise one tell what happened?Except that's not what happened.
The FBI file is not the same as the grand jury testimony, which contained only a fraction of the files (the parts that dealt with getting Epstein convicted). So old wise one tell what happened?

I think this is a fair position to take but we must also consider the position of somebody like @antiquity. For him, loyalty to and conformance with Donald is paramount, and overrides all other considerations. If Trump knew of Epstein’s crimes but did nothing, @antiquity would still support him. If Trump participated with Epstein in said crimes, @antiquity would still support him. Heck, Donald himself has stated that he could shoot a person on 5th Avenue and not lose the support of @antiquity. Therefore, from his perspective, the best course of action is to defend Donald’s honor by deflecting from the DOJ files to the grand jury testimony and hoping that gets traction.I think sexually abusing children is one of the worst crimes I can think of and I’d be comfortable destroying the political career of any Democrat who knew something like this was happening and did nothing to stop it. If I knew my own party was trying to block such a thing to any significant degree, and I did not see those decision makers being forced out, I’d leave the party.
Yes the Epstein grand jury file can be released but only by if a federal judge say so.The FBI file is not the same as the grand jury testimony, which contained only a fraction of the files (the parts that dealt with getting Epstein convicted).
The portion that went to the grand jury can be redacted along with the names of the victims and the files can be released.
MAGAs don't want this because they are willing to protect pedophiles to own the libs.
Unfortunately most of the files are redacted and it would take a judge to remove the black redacted parts and so far none has doneI think sexually abusing children is one of the worst crimes I can think of and I’d be comfortable destroying the political career of any Democrat who knew something like this was happening and did nothing to stop it. The DOJ has access to significantly more information than what is contained in the grand jury related materials, which it can release depending on the circumstances. It could probably release the stuff directly related to Trump, for example.
Way to speculate....but can you refute anything I posted?I think this is a fair position to take but we must also consider the position of somebody like @antiquity. Yes but why would anyone bother? You and I both know that you’ve sworn an oath of loyalty to Donald that is unshakable, and there is nothing he can do to ever lose your support. Therefore, refuting any of your claims would be met only by a deflection, a lie, or some generic ‘fake news!’ quip. So, I figure it’s more efficient for everyone if we dispense with all of that and skip straight to the end where you regale us with a story of Donald’s grandeur. Perhaps something about big strong men walking up to him with tears in their eyes and calling him Sir.Way to speculate....but can you refute anything I posted?

During the last administration Epstein was dead, and Maxwell was in prison. What exactly should that administration be investigating?. I am sure the last administration had access to all the Epstein files so why didn't they do something then? Because the Epstein files would have exposed a lot of prominent democrats That's why.
Gym Jordan has entered the chat....No.
Doing nothing is about as bad as complicity.
Yes Epstein is dead and Maxwell is in prison so why now? Would an investigation expose some Democrats?During the last administration Epstein was dead, and Maxwell was in prison. What exactly should that administration be investigating?
So Why now? Trump made the issue a campaign promise.Yes Epstein is dead and Maxwell is in prison so why now? Would an investigation expose some Democrats?
