I think "nothing" is a bit of an exaggeration, but it's mostly true. I think on average they do have more in common with heartland American whites, which is kind of ironic.

I'm having this discussion with another poster in a separate thread. Integration is an interesting subject because to many people - especially white liberals - integration means that American blacks are fully onboarded to the white bourgeoise conception of a middle class ideal.

And the most paradoxical thing is that the grievances of those bygone generations have not gone away, and there are still many who hate those troubled times. To this must be added the hatred of the nations of the world, Germans, Japanese, Russians, Muslims... and someone hates Jews now.

Lincoln (a Rep) Freed the Slaves and the DEM's (the South) fought against that !.... The DEM started the KKK.
Also the fatal flaw of "Democracy" is that The MOB can rule! So if the Mob (back in the 60's had a white Majority they could vote for
racist Laws! And to day if the MOB is bat$H!+ crazy they can make crazy laws, like boys can pretend to be girls and play in girls sports....
