the so called "western democracies" allow dual citizenship. One's that don't are like China, India, Indonesia, Japan, and Saudi Arabia, Cuba/

It's yet one more indication Ukraine has no desire for democracy. And this time it can't be blamed on the war like elections and censorship.

I’m not much for Bible verses, but Matthew 6:24 applies in this instance.

Do you think it is a good idea to have a public official in office to have dual passports, when one is from the nation you are at war with?

he is a citizen of Ukraine and was acted as such. further he's going to replaced by a military administration.
Ukraine has about as much use for democracy as I do a pregnancy test
