Well, he’s now facing the reality that he’s about out of aces.

Update (0914ET):

Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem commented on X regarding ICE's arrest of alleged MS-13 illegal alien gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia, stating that the deportation process has begun.

It’s wild how blatantly and aggressively the lawless Trump admin wants to violate court orders.

Yes, surely if he is displaced to Uganda, it is the end of the road for him and the last time you will ever hear his name. Everyone will simply abandon him and the rule of law because reasons. Mhmm.

Headed out for a quick fishing trip after work, eh? Makes sense. There is another three hours or so of daylight left in the Moscow area.

Zero Hedge as a source.....

Overall, we rate ZeroHedge an extreme right-biased conspiracy website based on the promotion of false/misleading/debunked information that routinely denigrates the left.

What impresses me about this kind of thing is the sadistic pleasure Maga gets in tearing apart families.

Its not like this serves any practical purpose.

A truly sick society.

It does serve a practical purpose. It removes a criminal, someone who entered our country illegally.

Secretary Noem is one cruel bitch. She can't prove any part of her statement. These people (Trump and Co.) believe they can lie their way through everything.

The payback is going to be hard on these folks. The sooner the better.

It's going to Xinis?

Well, that means we'll be waiting until SCOTUS takes up the appeal.

Why Uganda?

Punishment for challenging Dear Leader after being snatched off the streets, send to a human storage facility, and being tortured - and having the gall to not accept the deal to plead guilty to the TN charges.

I agree. Everyone who commits a civil infraction should be sent to Uganda. Next time you get a parking ticket, straight to Uganda with you.

The good news is that the official language of Uganda is english. The bad news is that he can't speak a word of that after being here for 10 years. (sad, ironic, trombone)

Judge Xinis is presiding over a writ petition filed by Abrego. She's proposing the government respond by Wednesday, and a hearing Friday at 11 AM.

She says extending a TRO is necessary because there appears to be a violation of the law.

Xinis says there's been no offer of protection from Uganda akin to what Costa Rica has promised.

The government can right the ship by showing some representation from Uganda that his freedom will not be curtailed or that he will not be tortured or sent to El Salvador.

She also says that Abrego's deportation to Uganda is punishment for exercising his constitutional rights (in her preliminary view) so she just wants to make sure the schedule she proposes works.

She will extend her TRO in the interim.

Drew Ensign says removal is not imminent and he'd like to consult with his clients and Mr Abrego's lawyers.

Judge Xinis asks "are you aware that the government is absolutely forbidden to remove him from the United States?" Mr. Ensign says he understands that.

Xinis asks Mr Abrego's lawyers if they are willing to meet with the government to come up with an amenable schedule and that she will issue a TRO in the meantime.

Abrego's lawyer says they can meet with the government tonight and file a joint proposal tomorrow morning.

He is not guilty of a civil action. He is in the country illegally. He was ordered to be deported. It's very simple. It's the law.
