Since 2015, the IAEA has used Palantir’s Mosaic platform (designed for U.S. military ops) to monitor Iran’s nuclear program under the JCPOA. Mosaic processed over 400M data objects, including satellite and social media, enabling 60+ SURPRISE inspections.

But during an AMA Palantir’s founder Peter Thiel was asked, "Is Palantir a front for the CIA?" Thiel replied, "No, The CIA is a front for Palantir. " Most likely referencing their CIA funding and founding.

Even more recently, was recent as last week, Thiel fielded a question about Palantir's use in Gaza to which he said, ""I'm not on top of all the details of what's going on in Israel, because my my bias is to defer to Israel. "

Why are these people responsible for the software of our international institutions?

On June 12, 2025, Iran leaked documents allegedly showing IAEA chief Rafael Grossi coordinating directly with Israel. Iran says the IAEA became a conduit for Israeli intelligence—echoing earlier claims from 2018, when Mossad raids uncovered internal IAEA files.

The June 2025 IAEA resolution: the FIRST in 20 years, citing 400kg of 60% enriched uranium. Days later, Israel bombed Natanz, Fordow, and Esfahan. Iran accused the IAEA of providing cover for the strikes.

Meanwhile, Palantir’s CEO held a 2024 board meeting in Tel Aviv “in solidarity” with Israel. And Thiel’s circle, which pushed for Trump’s 2018 JCPOA withdrawal, now stands at the center of a surveillance network blurring the line between arms control and regime change.

Iran has now limited IAEA monitoring.

Critics, including Russia’s Yermakov and analyst Ali Vaez, warn that Palantir’s data could produce false positives from “dirty” inputs like Israel’s 2018 file dump, triggering inspections or war based on politicized intelligence.

Yes, Palantir was indeed used by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to verify Iran's compliance with the 2015 agreement. Specifically, Palantir's Gotham platform was used by cyber analysts at Information Warfare Monitor, a Canadian organization, to aid the IAEA in this verification process. The IAEA is the UN's nuclear watchdog, and they have been a paying customer of Palantir. The relationship between the IAEA and Palantir began after a meeting at the World Economic Forum in 2015

Could not, and would not, because I don't address anything that is sourced from Pravda. I don't read Pravda. I know better.
It's a waste of your energy and everyone's time to toss easily torched straw men at me. There was absolutely nothing in my post that even alluded to me supporting Bush the Lesser's feeble pretext for invading, occupying, and nation building in Iraq. Nothing. That entire disaster was orchestrated by the Republican stink tank PNAC - a cabal led by the devotees of the late Irving Kristol dating back into the 1990's, years before the events of 9/11/01. The GOP Neo-Con-men wrote their well publicized open letter to Bill Clinton in 1998, urging him to overthrow Saddam Hussein and seize Iraq. Wisely, he never did, despite enormous political pressure. Bush the Lesser and his Republican Neocon cabinet used the 9/11 events to hornswoggle the nation into supporting the invasion of Iraq, and Americans will be paying for that folly for many generations yet to come.
 
Well said. Britain, and others, got conned too. What a tragic waste of lives and money-and for what? Iraq remains an unstable pastiche of a 'democracy', and a nation with many armed sectarian factions, all vying for power.

When it came to Britain, they were a special case. As a nation they felt responsible, suffering from the vestigial hangover of having created Iraq from the ruins of the Ottoman Empire 80+ years before. It was Britain's political officer and administrator Gertrude Bell who had, quite literally, drawn the lines on the map demarcating Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, et al. back in the mid 1920's.
Ironically, a no lesser figure than Dick Cheney himself warned us against, and predicted the results of the folly back in the 90's when he explained the very good reasons to NOT invade Iraq! Of course, as VP he later supported it.

Sec. CHENEY: "Well, just as it’s important, I think, for a president to know when to commit U.S. forces to combat, it’s also important to know when not to commit U.S. forces to combat. I think for us to get American military personnel involved in a civil war inside Iraq would literally be a quagmire. Once we got to Baghdad, what would we do? Who would we put in power? What kind of government would we have? Would it be a Sunni government, a Shi’a government, a Kurdish government? Would it be secular, along the lines of the Ba’ath Party? Would it be fundamentalist Islamic? I do not think the United States wants to have U.S. military forces accept casualties and accept the responsibility of trying to govern Iraq. I think it makes no sense at all."

And then later, once again from Cheney's own mouth ...
"If you can take down the central goverment of Iraq, you can easily see pieces of Iraq fly off. Part of it the Syrians would like to have in the West. Part of Eastern Iraq the Iranians would like to claim - the fought over for either years. In the North you have the Kurds, and if the Kurds spin loose and join the Kurds in Turkey, then you threaten the territorial integrity of Turkey. It's a quagmire if you go that far and try to take over Iraq"

As we all now know, the "quagmire" of Iraq is still with us more than 20 years after Bush the Lesser's folly.
 
I can see palantir doing this but IAEA has been preventing war with Iran.
