Im kinda freaking out right now and i dunno if its just the large martini or not but i was having a great time and with my family and all of a sudden my mom starts talking about how many Canadians are where i live or what percentage. My step dad was designated driver and even though i was very tipsy i could hear rather clearly my mom was talking about how many Canadians are where i live vs where they live and they just hit me with they were referring to black people. My step dad wasnt intoxicated and he was agreeing with my mom. I have no idea what to ******ing do anymore…. God damn you ****er carlson…,
 
I'm sorry bomberfox. I too live among many "canadians" and they are no more of a problem than any other race. It really sucks when your family goes racist on you....sad thing is pre-trump this wasn't an issue, everyone co-existed and got along. trump made it OK to be racist.

1st time ever I've heard of African Americans being refered to as Canadians...what is this...Maga speak???? The only way I can tell you guys apart from us is the way you pronounce certain words like "house" and "about"! :giggle: I know this from my days of watching soap operas. Canadians pronounce words with the "ou" in them slightly differently!
 
Never heard of that euphemism. Any new ones for Jews?

I think Canadians sound just like Americans except for certain words. I thought these actors and actresses were European until I read in the tabloids that they were Canadian, and it's only a small handful of words that just don't sound the same. If you pronounce roof as ruff, I wouldn't pick up on that. It's only words with "ou" in them that I can recognize as Canadian. ANYWAY, we love you Canadians!❤️

I ask them to just dont talk about politics but they refuse to respect my boundaries. If anyone wants to know why i am this way on this forum this is why… Ive been ideological and at times unreasonable but ive never ever had this much utter contempt for an entire political party in my life….

I'm sorry you have to deal with this shit in your own family, my heart goes out to you. I'm older, and there was never any racist talk in my family, I am thankful. Your step dad is just agreeing with your mother to keep the peace, he has to be with her a lot more than you do I guess. Also, he may agree, sober or lit.

I'm not Canadian! Or Black. I'm just an American living here, being relentlessly tormented for my American accent, and not liking cheese curds and gravy, or ice boxing.
 
I mean at first i thought i was hearing things because i was exhausted from white water rapids and dazed but no apparently not!

Lucky you! My profound apologies....What the hell is a cheese curd...cottage cheese? What the hell is ice boxing? Hey ASHES, there's going to be MILLIONS of Americans who are going to want to do like you and live in Canada if trump gets back in office- hope you guys can make room for us!
