Good for him. You're only as old as you feel.

However, my personal opinion is that Crossfit is little better than a cult. I was half inclined to give it a try when I was overseas, but I was ultimately turned off by the way it seemed to utterly consume the lives of anyone who became involved with it.

They hung out almost exclusively with crossfit friends, spent most of their time in the office chatting with other crossfitters on facebook, and spent the majority of their free time at the gym working out in massive herds which would regularly take up more than half of the available floor space for hours on end. They also had a tendency to aggressively shun anyone who dropped out of their social circle.

Frankly, it was kind of creepy.

probably more than i could handle, but kudos to him for his dedication. i hope that i can still do my exercise routine at that age.
 
I’ll stick with my five x five programs. They work for me.:2wave:
