Is he stupid, paranoid or what? I'm going with both. From the current President's truth social post after the Iran bombing...

"...After 36 hours of dangerously flying through Enemy Territory, they landed, they knew the Success was LEGENDARY, and then, two days later, they started reading Fake News by CNN and The Failing New York Times. They felt terribly!..."

The President is either stupid and does not know what 'enemy territory' is, or he's paranoid and thinks everyone in the world is his enemy (the total flight was 36 hours long).

I'm going with a toxic combination of stupidity and paranoia.

wrong--------------the "problem" is the voters who support him

This is what authoritarian demagogues, and advertisers, do. Pound away at the same message over and over again.

There's a method to his madness.

Many, many enemies.

Trump is lazy, uninterested in details and vain. His wealth buys him people to take care of details, cater to his vanity and make him look powerful on a very grand scale. Juggling all that takes shrewdness, the ability to control large numbers of people, and knowing how far to go when ignoring conventions and laws. The incorrect English, the bloviating and the wildly incorrect history and geography that his writers produce is designed to delight the supporters, not those appalled by his actions. It is his supporters who make him powerful not those who criticize him.

I recall watching The Apprentice, which my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed. But it didn't go unnoticed that at the end of every episode, he was flanked by Trump Organization lackies who always agreed, he did the exact right thing. At the time, it was entertaining. But now when they do it, they're running the country, not just some impotent reality show.

Maybe that's a big part of the problem, watching reality TV.

People believe liars all the time. The liar is the problem.

Prior to World War One, Kaiser Wilhelm got a very special newspaper every day. It was printed in Gold. That was all he wanted, Gold Printed News. His staff knowing what he liked, would write the news to please him. One example, when Kaiser Wilhelm went to Church one Sunday, it was reported that the All Highest went to visit the Highest.

Wilhelm did not wish to waste time on news that did not flatter him. The Insufficient Ego required constant attention and praise. When he would say something that upset others, he would moan about how awful it was the people didn't understand and how fortunate they were to have him as Kaiser.

Trump is the same. Look how outraged he got with the TACO name from Wall Street. Or how the very best and amazingly talented becomes just awful when they part paths.

To understand Trump you need only to find the worst examples of leaders in History, and roll them into a ball, and coat it with Cheeto Dust.

??????? sounds like the problem is the people who believe the liars..............
If the lie wasn't told, no one would believe it.

Thanks for the knowledge. I concur with your conclusion.

...............people need to be accountable for their stupidity...........................being stupid SHOULD be painful................

People do not take voting seriously enough, so they go off and believe anything that sounds good = THAT is being IRRESPONSIB:E

Unfortunately far too many of your fellow viewers thought the Appretice was real and Donald Trump was a successful, decisive businessman that did the right thing. Somewhere over the past few decades far too many Americans have confused reality and Hollywood....

Welcome the big ugly bill (the reverse Robin Hood of stealing from the poor to give to the rich) and tariffs. People will suffer, unfortunately so will those of us that were smart enough not to vote for this buffoon.

I agree.

Voting should be mandatory, including a national election holiday and tax credits for voting.
