Actually, Corona virus causes the "common cold" read any medical article published before the current crisis and it will make that clear. Despite what the name suggests it can be very serious with liquid in the lungs and fever and can kill people with underlying other health problems. I'm having a hard time seeing the difference between the "common cold" and covid-19. I think there is a chance that after we know more we will discover that is all it was the whole time.
YOu do realize that polls are totally worthless when it comes to choosing the actual effectiveness of a medicine. Double blind tests would be needed.
And, you should really vet your sources. The NYPOST is horrible when it comes to this thing known as 'facts'

Your claims are null and void. While it might work, a poll is not a valid form of figuring out if it does, and the NY post is still not accurate when it comes to facts. I will point out 1) sample size of less than 7000, 2) No real controls in place / 3) Sermo , the polling company, makes it's money via marketing promotions.
So, the source of hte polls (sermo.com) is suspect due to it's background and how it gets it's money. NY Post is not a very good source for accurate information to begin with.
WHile hoxoxcholoquine might be the answer, using a poll, or nypost or sermo as sources is highly suspect.
What is sad is you obviously have no more than an 8th-grade education and you are trying to pretend you know more than scientists who have conducted medical research for decades.

The Trump haters now are super skeptical on the use of hydroxychloroquine, just because Trump said it may work. If he hadn't said a thing, they wouldn't care one way or another, they'd just read about the successes of using the drug.
But now, they hate it. It can't be working, and they will resist all reports that it is, and pray for reports of people dying after using it. Because they so desperately need to blame Trump. Blame him for anything they can, then move on and attack on something else.
If this drug ends up being a great help in the fight against the Wuhan virus, then, they never heard of it. Hydro what? Never said a thing. What a bunch of phony suckers. In normal times multi years of testing would be fine.
This is a 75 year old well refined drug that is already about as risky to ingest as aspirin. With Doctors prescribing, those microscopic possible risks go to zero.
Over 6000 doctors are reporting it works great for treating and even preventing COVID-19.
The people who have any reservations at all are Govt Bureaucrats who are more concerned with procedure than results.
The fact is: many on the Left see this crisis as an opportunity and are hostile to anything that might end the crisis early. Trump speaking in favor of it just brings that hostility up to rage level 10.
If you had clicked the link you would have seen there are two other drugs everyone likes as well. They are rating which is best. None are rated as bad.

And, when it comes to how well any of those drugs work, opinion is not valid. You need double blind tests and clinical trials. We can HOPE they work, but what has to be done is actual testing to get rid of confirmation bias of the doctors, and get the actual numbers.
Doctors found that these drugs originally meant for other ailments also worked well for COVID-19. Trump heard about it and expressed optimism which triggered Leftists.
They started using penicillin during WW2 with no clinical trials. It saved thousands of lives.
