Can anyone explain to me why Humpty/USA seems to go out of his way to piss people off? Why would he even appear to be sidelining/neutralising Europe and his other (current) allies? Why is this not a united front from the West, all of the West including of course the USA.

Could it be as petty/childish as Humpty wanting all the glory/praise/accolades (if any headway to peace is made) so he can add it to the meaningless, shallow resume' of sexed up claims he will send off for his Peace Prize nomination?

Why is he seemingly so reluctant to work with his friends but ever so keen to cosy up to an enemy invader and even appease that invader, worse ~ reward him?

I saw a meme today, rubbishing anything critical of him, that if he personally discovered a cure for cancer he would still be dissed. Yes, he would, because he is such a fraud, such a liar, such a swindler, such a snake oil salesman, so full of absolute bullshit (and guilt, ) that humanity losing out on a cure would be at his feet, because of his appalling personal record, and 'qualities.'

But then, last week, after overtures from Mr. Putin, Mr. Trump shifted again. He hastily scheduled the Alaska meeting. This week, he told reporters he wanted to see what Mr. Putin had on his mind, and whether he could broker “a deal” on the war, including swaps of land currently held by Ukraine and Russia.​

It's not at all about Trump. It's about possibly ending the war.

Trump is addicted to attention. It is his drug. He was severely neglected for attention as a child and learned that by being an asshole he could get attention.

Look at his big picture. He already had it made with great wealth. The only reason he got the idea he should be president was to get attention. Becoming president wasn't enough. He was immediately obsessed with crowd sizes. When he was mocked for that, it only caused his need for more attention to grow.

Giving him attention is like giving booze to a drunk. He only wants more. That's why he has to be on social media every day and all night. When that isn't enough, he resorts to doing asshole things. He has the attention of the entire world and still it isn't enough. Now, he has the idea that if he gets a Nobel Peace Prize it will finally get him the adoration of the entire world. Foolish, yes, but he doesn't think clearly. He has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. The attributes describe him to a T: Check it out...
