Because people have freedom of association as guaranteed by the constitution...
I heard a really good report on NPR about how violent crime is going up because El Chapo Guzman has set up Chicago as the Sinaloa Cartel's "hub" for their midwest drug distribution network.
All I know is that if that **** were happening in most any suburb around the city of Chicago? The National Guard would be called out . . . martial law would be declared . . . and they'd be kickin' ass all over the county until it stopped.
Yesterday in beautiful Chicago in FOUR Hours 18 people were shot!! In the 60's the cops were accused of brutality, that has now changed to gang brutality. Can this be fixed or will the number continue to soar? What good does talking about this do?
Nah not really Maggie.....it took Capone's Nephew to run out all the Biker gangs back in the late 60s and 70s out of Sin City/Calumet City. After they burned down two bars and kept getting into. Capone's Nephew sent the word any Bikers caught wearing colors would be shot on the Spot. Told them he didn't care about them partying and hanging out at all the strip clubs. But the killing and destroying of property was over with. Whether they liked it or not.
Exactly. I cannot understand why good people choose to live in these war zones. Why they don't rise up enmass and kick the bangers out of the neighborhood. Why they don't step up and identify these thugs and get rid of them. The Wild West did it with vigilante law enforcement.
My own mom would have lived homeless under a bridge before she would have subjected me to the likes of these horror-filled neighborhoods. These people? Think that's normal? Afraid to take back their own streets? "I saw nothing...I know nothing." What's wrong with them??
what is the difference is those bikers where white anything that is done to crack down on gang related crime now days will be seen as racist because the vast majority of gang members are minorities
Because it's easier to pass the buck and blame someone else for all of their problems.
These neighborhoods won't change until they begin to accept even a minimal level of responsibility and that seems a pipe dream at this point.
That's not true.....they had black bikers and that was why the bars were burnt down. This was on the Strip which was Right off the State line and Border of Cal City Illinois and Hammond Indiana.
Moreover Tony Arcardo used Jeff Fort, who was the Leader of the Blackstone P Rangers and in the 70'-80's. The Stones as they were called were the largest of all the Street gangs. To get control of the gang wars and public killings. Arcardo called in Fort and had him Broker the Peace.
Which also truthfully at the time Fort was against Crack and Crank.....so after their businesss dealing and the peace was put into affect for the larger Organizations. The Money was sectioned out. Yet Most kept the damper on crack and crank. Wherein it never really took off around here. That's not to say it wasn't around and people weren't dealing it.....though, getting caught doing so would be far more dangerous if caught by Fort and his people. rather than the Cops.
caused by decades of the left blaming and encourage them to blame and not take responsibility for anything it is all whiteys fault
the left has created this monster and we all will suffer because of it
it was different times back then you can do common sense police work with out being called a racist now days if cops go into a minority neighborhood to stop crime because that is where the majority of crime is they are called racist for shaking down a minority neighborhood
At some point the right has to take some responsibility for allowing it to continue though.
A foot should have been firmly put down a very long time ago and much of the future of our country will depend on if that foot ever gets put down.
Thirteen people, including a 3-year-old boy, were shot on the South Side Thursday night.
According to the Chicago Police the shooting happened in the 1800 block of W 51st street in the Back of the Yards neighborhood and appears to be gang related.
Chicago Fire officials called an Emergency Medical Services Plan II, sending at least 10 ambulances to the scene and transported 10 people and the child to area hospitals.
One man drove himself to Little Company of Mary Hospital and was treated and released police said.
Police later said a total of 13 people were shot, the boy, two teens, and 10 adults, with the 3-year-old boy the most seriously wounded in critical condition.
The boy suffered a gunshot wound to the head and is at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Family members tell the Chicago Tribune the boy’s name is Deonta’ Howard.
Deonta’–pronounced Deontay–nicknamed Tay Man, has a dislike for haircuts, one cousin said.
“He didn’t like haircuts because he has a big head,” said Porsche Chester, a cousin of the boy’s. “But he is extremely smart. He didn’t have that (head) for nothing.”
Chicago Police continue to investigate and nobody is in custody for the shooting.
Check back for updates.
- The 3-year-old boy, shot in the ear, in critical condition at Mount Sinai;

And the beat goes on.
How so for the Right? They can't do anything but maybe win the Governors Office. Can't run in certain districts due to the candidate having to be black or hispanic. Can't gain hold over neighborhoods. Can't vote them out of office.
So other than all out war. There is no way for the Right to take control or set anything back to whats Right.
Edit.....well other than for the Dems to implode. Not likely that will happen for another hundred years.
Exactly. I cannot understand why good people choose to live in these war zones. Why they don't rise up enmass and kick the bangers out of the neighborhood. Why they don't step up and identify these thugs and get rid of them. The Wild West did it with vigilante law enforcement.
With what? They have strict gun laws in Illinois that only the law-abiding follow.
The Wild West vigilante enforcement you speak of.........they did it with guns. Tons of them.
It doesn't just take guns. It takes a willful desire to clean up a neighborhood. Every one of these gang bangers is someone's son, brother, boyfriend. Their parents know who they are . . . their other brothers and sisters who who they are. They're living somewhere and, in most cases I'd bet, someone else is paying their rent.
I say women alone could clean up a neighborhood. No guns. Give them no quarter. They'll stop or they'll leave. Until they are unwilling to live in these cesspools they call home and are committed enough to turn in their own families, rat on their friends, throw their asses out, nothing is going to change.
IMO, nobody outside of their communities gives a rat's ass as long as they just keep killing their own.
We could have done stuff at the federal, state, and local level before it got the way it is.
The right still could but they spend so much time tilting at windmills that it's hard for them to win moderates and swing voters.
Yeah, I knew it wouldn't take long to be put up into the news. 13 Shot.....none dead yet. Although the 3 year yr old might not make it. No suspect in custody and no idea as to what the shooter looks like.
Immediately the Cops stated it may be gang related.
Still it is Chicago and with the Strictest gun laws in the country. I figured the Anti Gun Nuts would be all over this. Wheres Gabby? :doh
They have hundreds of murders a year in Chicago.
Chicago Homicide Rate In 2012 Surpassed New York City, But FBI Warns That's Not The Whole Story
If they want to maintain this record they better get to work. You can't have slow days with just 1-2 murders...
Heya RM. :2wave: Well don't forget Chicago Cops are involved.....so some things aren't exactly reported accurately.
True. And missing persons (even if they are missing for LONG time) aren't counted there too. These are just reported murders.
Rahm Emanuel must be proud. I wonder if Obama will have him over for Christmas or Hannukah celebrations at the WH to congratulate him on his bang up job.
I'm starting to think we need a war on gangs, just being in one should land you in prison. They are criminal organizations and threaten the well being of this country as much as terrorist.
