Old people generally do die off. I'm not so sure that's really a function of political ideology.
I wonder how the liberal progressives of this country will feel when they discover that their opinions are soon to be subject to approval based on a little red handbook delineating what is acceptable thought and what isn't.
The "Little Red Book" of Mao Zedong is simply a philosophy book, a powerful and influential collection of wisdom. It is much better that the teachings of Mao Zedong lead the way of the people versus the teachings of Donald Trump or Fred Phelps
In any nation, the dominant socioeconomic group will try to protect its position at the top. This isn't a conscious decision, but is closer to mob psychology in nature - a mass of people doing things that they would normally never have considered, and not really realizing why they are doing those things to begin with.
As the increasingly lily-white Right diminishes in power and influence (they're still the strongest by far, but the demographic changes, gradual as they are, are essentially irreversible and unstoppable), they will "circle the wagons" to protect their power base, and grow increasingly defensive of their position at the top.
In every such situation in the past I can think of, whether the dominant socioeconomic group was a race, an ethnicity, or a religion, there was significant violence (or even genocide) in the process. Hopefully, we're more educated and peaceful now, and can get through the coming change with a minimum of such senseless violence.
Heard this before - in the 1960s and again a few times later. Not sorry to break it to you, but they're replaced as fast as they die out. The younger more hip generation eventually becomes the establishment.

That may have been true when both the younger and older generations were white dominated, but today, the older, more conservative generation is majority white, while the younger, more forward thinking generation is much more diverse and open minded.
Given that the conservative ideology in the usa is white dominated, it is fair to say that as the country gets more diverse, it will get less and less and less conservative/
Next semester take a logic course (and your first ever history course). The conservatism of age does not rely upon race.
THe conservatism of "age" is actually the conservatism of race, because the older generations are whiter than the younger ones, and therefore more conservative.
And that's precisely why I suggest you load up with history courses next semester. What you said is entirely false.
But hey, 20-30 years from now you'll get it.

And older pedophiles are worse than younger ones?
20-30 years from now, people sharing my viewpoints, beliefs, and worldviews will be in the white house, congress, and dominate the voting booths as the old white conservative voting base dies out.
The Political Revolution of the Millennial Generation - The Atlantic
Yeah, that's what every generation of high school student has thought. A few more history courses and some real life experience and most of them understand why that just doesn't end up being the reality.
How the hell is this relevant at all?
Except out generation is more progressive than EVER before, and that will not stop anytime soon.

Heh!
Every generation thinks that their ideas are the best and most "forward thinking". Eventually they figure out that what they are trying isn't really anything new and that it's failed many times before.
Again no, it's not. In fact your generation are pikers where it comes to progressivism. All talk and no foundation or work ethic. Again, pretty typical in the high school set this last four or five decades.
Sorry kiddo, been there, done that.
So why is the country getting more and more progressive?
Pretty much. Whereas previous generations have gone out and actually DONE something, Millennials tend to sit around and whine on the Internet and don't actually accomplish a damn thing.
