I want to take a picture of my screen when I'm playing different rounds of a game and post them on YouTube. What do I need in order to do that? (A help thru difficult levels)

I've never used it but from what I hear FRAPS is your best all purpose solution.

I prefer Fraps for recording screenshots and video while playing a game. It doesn't seem to be too much of a draw on system resources, it works well, and you can also have it display your current framerate while you're playing if you care about that.

Assuming you have Windows, Microsoft Expression Encoder is a free download which will allow you to do a live video screen capture. The free edition has limited options, but I've used it several times and it will likely do what you want it to. It's very easy to use.

I want to take a "video" of playing the game. Not a screen shot. Thanks for your condescending non-help.
OIC, so you didn't mean "picture" you meant "video". Thank you for clearing that up. Seems you now have a couple of good answers above.
