How to FORCE Politicians to do good

I don't try to make myself right, I just am saying that any policy should have the interests of ALL. And that means security as well. There is no better organization to do that then a government. It is the people's fault if they are unhappy with the government.

I agree but you can never satisfy the interests of all, it doesn't work like that.
As long as that is true, your best bet is to leave them to satisfy their own interests because they know them best.

That is my entire political philosophy.

Governments have had a nasty habit of hurting people for the sake of their own power.

How to force politicians to do good?

Make it mandatory for all members of government to be fully monitored.

The problem is not the system, the problem is not enough people believe as you do.

Do you think it's fair that in states like Pennsylvania, the Republicans and Democrats running statewide only have to get 2,000 signatures to get on the ballot but anyone else needs 65,000? Those are the kinds of laws that have been put in place by states all over the country to keep the duopoly in existence.

I disagree with you that most people only believe the Republicans' ways or the Democrats' ways. If that were the case why does the Congress consistently get pathetic approval ratings? Countless times someone has told me that they really like a particular third party candidate but are still going to vote for the Republican or the Dem because they are afraid vote for the third party guy because it might put the Republican or Democrat they really don't like in office instead of the R or D that isn't quite so bad, but would at least be better than the other one.

Third party candidates do win major races on occasion like gubernatorial races, but it's usually because they have a well known name or are incredibly wealthy and can self finance their race and get exposure to the public. Lack of financing and exposure as well as grossly unfair ballot requirements are the main reasons why third party candidacies fail nine times out of ten. If more of them were allowed in the debates you'd see them taking more and more of the vote over time and finally start breaking the brainwashing so many Americans have that their only choice is the person with an R or D next to their name.

What do you mean by "fully monitored"?

I thought about this a few weeks ago along with the problem of corruption in our system. I decided that if I were elected into a high office I would make all my conversations and actions public unless it would interfere with national security. This would be easily achieved with todays technology. Set up a public channel that showed all my actions to the public where anyone could watch me 24/7 (obvious things excluded). Its the ultimate way to fight corruption.

If you dont want to be in the public eye with everything you do fine dont run for a high office. Its rarely the things that we see now that leads to corruption or is corrupt its all the things we dont currently see going on.

I've been thinking about this for a couple years now. If the idea got big enough and enough people volunteered to be fully monitored, then I think everyone would vote these people in to positions. Just on the fact they are being 100% watched.

Someone needs to force this dude.

Here's another sure fire way to get politicians motivated to do a good job!

Just Re-register as a thirdparty (if you are currently a REP or DEM) !

Once they see that their supporter numbers are going away they might actually
do something worth supporting. But as long as they can screw you over and you
stay loyal to their party it's "Business As Usual", So bend over and grab your
anckels cuz you're going to get screwed some more!

Oh and do get scared or be fearful, you can always register back during
the next election(if you want) ! But in the mean time they will be sweating
bullets trying to stay alive politically.

Or you can just continue being their loyal sheep /pin cushions...
