It might take three months or twice that or even longer but eventually, the FBI investigation into the Russian/Trump campaign collision will come to an end and findings will be made and a report written. The same will be true for both the House and Senate investigations.

And you can rest assured that the final results will solve nothing and the debate will continue.

Republicans will accept no less than a signed, dated and notarized document from Donald Trump himself authorizing his campaign people to officially work with the Russian government in the wikileaks releases. And even then it could be said to just be a big April Fools joke that was out of sync with the calendar.

Anything less will be dismissed as the independent work of individuals not laid at the feet of Trump and not his responsibility. If that means some human sacrifices along the way - they will willingly be sacrificed.

Democrats will claim that the investigation uncovered plenty of cooperation between Trump campaign operatives and Russians or their stand-ins and it is enough to prove collision. And they will insist it was that which tipped the election to Trump and renders him illegitimate.

And nothing will happen.

Take it to the bank. That is how this will end. Both sides will claim victory. Both sides will claim they were right. Both sides will use the results in future campaigns.

This will NOT be like Watergate with a clean and final resolution.

Both sides can claim whatever they want but only one side will be right. I'm betting that side will not be the Democrats. Collusion is a very specific thing. You either did it or you did not. There is no wishy-washy BS of it, which is what you're doing by saying, "Democrats will claim that the investigation uncovered plenty of cooperation between Trump campaign operatives and Russians or their stand-ins and it is enough to prove collision.".

Sorry, that's just not factually correct as of this point.

But that won't stop the Democrats, the Mainstream Media, their talking heads and assorted useful idiots from demanding more.

The problem is that President Trump issued a public request to Russia, Russia responded by doing President Trump favors, and President Trump responded by doing Russia favors.

There's already evidence that they worked together, they both did things in the best interest of one another. The only contention is if they were actually stupid enough to be recorded agreeing to it, which they probably were not.

Translation: You have nothing.

.
Yes. That is exactly what you will believe regardless of any evidence to the contrary.

bookmark it -- save it -- jot it down --- and come back and tell me I was right.

I was not talking about how I will eventually see it. I was talking about republicans as a group and democrats as a group. Not individuals. Watch and see if I am right. You can count on it.

Moynihan was wrong when he said you are not entitled to your own facts. That has changed.

How long did it take watergate?
Man I'll miss the golden shower trump video

Which by itself is enough evidence of collusion and cooperation.

I will go with the evidence, you will go with your politics and your preconceptions.

Basically this entire OP was just an admission that there's not actually going to be anything to substantiate the collusion accusation so it's time to try and spread the BS thick to count it as a win already.

Other than, you know, actual collusion. We simply lack proof of intent.

Uhh...no. You don't have actual collusion. You obviously don't know what that word means.

"How the Russian investigations will end"

The democrats will tire of it.

Actually I have always said I will go with the evidence.

Definition of collusion
: secret agreement or cooperation especially for an illegal or deceitful purpose acting in collusion with the enemy

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/collusion

Definition of cooperation
1: the actions of someone who is being helpful by doing what is wanted or asked for : common effort We are asking for your full cooperation.

2: association of persons for common benefit established trade and economic cooperations

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/cooperation

You could pick the underlined and support the OP, or you could pick the non-underlined and say what you said.

Certainly, collusion in many economic senses does not have to be a specific signed agreement. There is such a thing as "silent collusion", where each party knows a game is being played and plays along (ie, price-fixing).

Anyway, none of this would be a problem if Trump & the GOP didn't resist investigation from the get-go. Anyone else would have said "gee, multiple intelligence agencies think Russia might have tried to interfere? Guess we should probably look into that." (Oh, and if it happened in 2012 ---whooooeeeee!)

It is, in fact, illegal to hack private DNC servers. Did you not know that?

False. The FBI has been investigating for a year. What happens in the House and Senate are just show trials.

And you don't have any evidence for any of that so...here we are, months later and all we have is a bunch of hot air.

Interesting that someone with your avatar would choose to cut out the entire point of my post and use the omission to snicker at me.

I've added back in (the red and bolded). Ohhh, now we see I was talking about how it's being investigated and how what was suspicious was the resistance to the investigation, which is WHY we don't have evidence months later.

Don't lie about people's posts. Too many do that here.

In other words, you understand there is nothing to the BS the left invented, and now you feel the need to cover your rear end.

I predict it's not going to work. Your pontifications will remain in the same spotlight as your election predictions.

Russia did, after President Trump asked them to.

Lol...you have your timelines and information mixed up so bad you don't even know you said something that is impossible. At the time Trump made his mocking comment Hillary's server was already taken down and in possession of the FBI.
