Brain Represents Tools As Temporary Body Parts, Study Confirms
Apparently our brains are adapted so that as soon as you pick up a toothbrush, screwdriver, or fork, it starts processing your body movements as if the tool is part of your body. That's why when you eat, you look at the tip of the fork, not your hand. It doesn't matter much what the hand is doing, your brain understands that it's extended now.
This may also be proof that we're already cyborgs. :shock:
