We have six very conservative Catholics Justices on the Supreme Court. Catholics represent just 20% of the US public and fewer than that identify as conservative Catholics.

How did that happen?

TLDR
Lots of money and help from Trump. And Vance seems to be on board. And ultra-conservative Catholics aren't done yet.

The usual way, WASPs using Catholics to carry their water for them while hating them for bowing to the Pointy Hat from Rome.

As far as I have seen, the stacking of the court was done by corrupt interests who poured billions into the project, with organizations such as Federalist Society recruiting, grooming, and selecting candidates, and Judicial Watch helping get them confirmed. That the Catholic candidates were preferred for the political issue of repealing Roe.

The history shows almost a total absence of Catholics on the court, until the current overrepresentation. The Catholics currently on the court are about half of all Catholics ever appointed (depending how you count Gorsuch, 7 of 16 total). 92 of 116 were protestant.
