How many copters are going to be shot down this week?

Well we have it from our military and the supposedly best newspaper in our country that the insurgents aren't doing anything new to attack our helicopters.

Yet here we see they are coordinating and mapping out the attacks. Even going to the effort of having film crews available to tape them. (Otherwise the lies about them not being shot down, which the government tried to pass off each time, would have stuck.)

So my question is how many more are going to be shot down in the future? Is it going to escalate? Are we going to somehow stop this better than we did the road side bombs? What do you think and why?
 
You trying to guess how many U.S. soldiers will die this week is sickening. I'm seriously thinking of becoming a conservative just so I can have an excuse to engage you in debate.

I'm opposed to all forms of extremists and would gladly become a conservative just so I can bistow a debate beatdown on you.

No, what's sick is the amount of Iraqi children, boys and girls, that they and that America in general have killed or have been blown to bits as a result of the occuption of Iraq

How is it the soldiers fault that Sunni and Shiite Iraqis care more about blowing themselves up then they do about the welfare of their own children?

So what's it called when our military and premier newspaper lie to us? Some people don't have the courage to stand up and say and say anything. They're weak, worthless, and make things worse. That's how we let that patsy Bush get into office. I don't mean to offend your sensibilities but if my pointing out what's going on here makes you sick perhaps you should leave the room and watch a disney channel. Otherwise keep your eyes open and start calling people out when they lie to you.
 

You're trying to find an excuse for your own sick actions. I dont like this administration anymore then you do however that doesn't give me the right to make light of the situation U.S. soldiers are currently in. Specially in a way that pretty much puts them at the same level as a game of blackjack. You want to play a guessing game. Find something a little less sickening.

He means the soldiers volunteered to serve they are not conscripts.

Because it wasn't like this before the Americans showed up. Thus, they started the illegal war, and they are responsible for ALL killings that take place. They unleashed a civil war. Also, its not just sectarian violence. Alot of it is also US army killings. Sorry to pick the bad apple but have you heard of the Hadditha massacre?

You trying to say our soldiers are responsible for every single killing that goes on is like saying a white man is responsible for every single murder black/latino gang members commit. Sure it might look nice on paper/tv screen but there is absolutely no logic to it.
 

The war machine as whole is responsible. These killings weren't happening before US soldiers arrived in Iraq. Simple as that.

A) The soldiers who are dying weren't the ones who chose to invade Iraq.

B) Just because Bush is an idiot doesn't mean that you should speculate on this like it was the Super Bowl instead of people ****ing dying.

In WW2, we lost ~6 B17/B24 per DAY, every day, for 1192 days.
 
I hope NO helicopters are shot down this week. Or any other week for that matter. Betting on people's lives to further some agenda is sickening.

But they signed up for the army and are continuing to do so. Thus they are putting there lives on the the line for America's McJihad. Not my problem.

The soldiers in Iraq are merely pawns of the war machine. Soldiers who want to defend the country but are against this war need to follow in Lt. Ehren Watada's footsteps.

Also, I disagree with the notion of speculating like TheHarshTruth did. However this thread calls attention to the seriousness of the situation in Iraq and I'm all for that.

That people like you werent in any position of importance during WW2 are absolute proof of a kind and benevolent God.
 
TheHarshLie, do you celebrate everytime a chopper goes down? It seems to me that you want America to loose this war. I admit we have lost the peace but I cannot give up hope that things will turn out right for the Iraqi's and for the world. I don't know anyone that dosn't feel for the innocent Iraqi's that are dying everyday. Most of all our troops, they will live with this for the rest of there lives. I hope you can be a man and admit you were wrong about this. ~ Sgt Rock
