Florida GOP, DeSantis may follow Texas’s lead

Florida Republicans are increasingly pushing to redraw the state’s congressional lines following a similar move by the Texas GOP.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) said Wednesday he is “very seriously” looking at asking the state Legislature to redraw the state’s congressional map, arguing the 2020 census is flawed.

Once again the gop is using a lie to try to get what they want, now they say the census was flawed. Don't like the way things are, make up a story and then change the law, simple.

Every blue state needs to follow suit.

If only we could know who was in charge during the 2020 census.

It would be good to know since a lot of our current politics is based on us not having any idea who the President was in 2020.

It has been hidden to us by time’s curtain.

It's up to the voters to put in candidates that are against the Gerrymander

There seems to be no limit. They just keep digging.

You should be asking that question about the democrats. They continue to wallow in failure and blame.

Well they can't as low as democrats. The question is how much lower can democrats go. Lower than 33%? oh hell yeah.

with a meager 8 percent holding a “very favorable” opinion, for a net

TDSers are part of the 8%. The fringe of the fringe.

Shouldn't ask how far down MAGA commies can go, there's no floor.

The weird thing is they seem to like it. Masochists. Or certainly perennial and profound losers.

Trump, Vance and Johnson walk into a bar...

...so they lowered it.

Republicans recognize they are headed toward election losses. The democracy solution would be for them to change policies to get more votes. That is not their plan - they'll do about anything other than that, like Gerrymandering, voter suppression, more donor money for propaganda, and whatever else they can other than serving the people instead of donors.

Thats funny, considering how you got your last Presidential candidate.

A 30-year plan that finally coming to fruition. The complete conservative take-over of the US Government.

Project 2025 spells it all out.

IMO, gerrymandering should be outlawed. If not, then we should just get rid of the House of Representatives and just have the Senate.
