Trump is happy to let the techbros have access to all US data we wouldn't give to our allies. He is too old to understand this data could be sold and profited from minutes after it is leaked.

Elon makes Trump happy and the oniy thing he has to worry about is his kid sticking boogers on the desk he lets Trump sit on.

It is difficult to say what a catalyst would even be if it happened within the next 4 years.

It's just a matter of time until Donald becomes resentful of Elon's superior, spotlight-hogging BS and fires him.
Elon won't last a year.
 
Trump is going all the way with Musk and his entire cabinet. This time around he treated it as casting call for his latest reality show. He wants all of them to generate attention grabbing absurd headlines. He has the perfect cast now. The entire world will be watching this and Trump loves that.

Needless to say our local MAGA like @Big Brother and @redbeer will struggle to vote because if they vote 'never' they know they'll likely look foolish at some point, and if they vote for any specific time frame then they are being disloyal to Donald by suggesting that he didn't hire the best people. It's a tough situation to be in.

And now they are losing their shit twice as fast because they now have two people to completely obsess over 24/7. We need another 1000 Trumps and another 1000 Musks!
 
If the recent fiasco in the Oval didn’t start the process, I don’t know what will. Musk has leverage in this relationship, he owns the office that Trump occupies. He has more money than God and he has the world’s loudest bullhorn. He is also Trumps congressional enforcer,
“Nice little office you have here, be a shame if a primary challenger showed up…….”

Yeah, it's hilarious and the thing is they are proving to everyone they want nothing to do with democracy or our Republic. They stand for tyranny.
 
Trump hates being upstaged by people he views as his subordinates, and Musk is incapable of even pretending to be Trump's subordinate. It will not be an amicable breakup.

Elon Musk is very intelligent at many things, but interpersonal relationship management is not one of them.

That's what you want to believe, but the truth is you have absolutely no clue about Trump and Musk, and are most likely being fed the BS you want to hear by the dying MSM. The way I see it, Musk is going to do a lot of damage to the democratic party, judging by the left's extreme reaction to him, so even if Trump hates the guy, it's worth it. And I'm sure he hates the democrats 100X more than he could ever hate Musk. When the democratic party can no longer resist Trump, and it is broke, then if there is friction between these two they can part ways. But now they are united in their quest to destroy the democrats and they are doing a great job together. But you believe what you want to believe.

As I read things, everything that Musk touches that works out well in the minds of the public...Trump will take the credit. And everything that Musk touches that aggrieves the people will be blamed on Musk.

Trump does not want Musk gone any more than he wants Vance promoted.

Trump and Musk are literally dismantling democracy and the Republic right in front of their blind followers and they think they are doing the opposite. Trump and Musk are despots acting tyrannically and their blind followers give it a big thumbs up. Two such despots holding this amount of power is against the very founding principles of our democracy and our Republic by concentrating too much power in the president and an unelected government consultant. The people speak through the Congress, not though these two despots.

If the goal is to destroy the opposition party it means that Musk is working to achieve a despotic one party ruling government. The goal of Musk and Trump is flat out tyranny.
