How liberals and conservatives could join forces to enfranchise DC Democrats

Right wingers think the "consequences" of criminal actions should be to reward the criminal with political office, including some of the highest offices in the land.

No honest person believes that you people actually care about crime because you worship criminals and make them your leaders, and you continue to encourage their criminal behavior while they are in office.

Trump has already said he's coming after the criminals, he's coming after the homeless people, AND he's coming after the slums. If residents don't run while the running's good, if outsiders don't play investment games to drive up the value, then we know how that goes: make the community unliveable until people sell for a song, force the others to give up their land for 'compensation' comparable to that, and then give it to well-connected developers to sell for so much money not even the moderately upper class will be able to afford it. That's how they do this stuff. Big investment funds might have well-paid CEOs who can afford to put a bag full of $50 gift cards where it matters most, but where private residents are concerned, I'm thinking Flee while you are still able.
