The core message, according to one of the people who was briefed on the planned presentation, is that Republicans should focus on the bill’s tax cuts for “working families” — including the elimination of income taxes on some tips and overtime and increases to the child tax credit and employer child care tax credit.

“The overarching point is that Republicans can control their own outcomes in the midterms if they just talk to key voters about what voters care about and highlight for those voters what we have done for them so far and what we’re planning to do next,” the person said, urging Republicans to “just keep the main thing the main thing.”

Will the snake oil salesman succeed?

He will succeed with the base because it’s coming from him. That why he keeps winning with Republicans.

If tomorrow he promulgated communism, his supporters would not even question it. He has mastered the Appeal to Authority fallacy.

They are already running ads here against the incumbent Dem rep who voted against the BBB. "She voted against tax cuts! Oh my! She hates America! She hates you!"

They are the long plied (by their billionaire owners) stupes and dupes who were over-ripe for it. Gin up their hatreds (to the billionaires' advantage), that's it! The drooling mass with no reasonable IQ.

Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act contained a provision advertised as “no tax on tips.” This measure is projected to reduce federal revenues by $32 billion over 10 years. (It expires in 2028 but could be renewed.)

The U.S. government collected $94 billion in tariff revenue in the first half of 2025.

So Trump’s illegal tax collections in the first half of 2025 exceeded the total ten-year value of his most touted concession to low-income Americans by at least two to one, and probably closer to three to one.

No Tax On Tips is a BS marketing ploy.
It's more like Less Tax on Some Tips for a Limited Time and won't amount to much of anything for very many people.
It just more trumpy bullshit for the cameras and the rubes that believe him.
