I suppose that could be considered in the last choice regarding flow of information.
 
As a wealthy elite I most enjoy controlling people by creating things that they cannot live without. The other options are all good, too, but not really my gig. The many options at our disposal do make for good conversation at the wealthy elite dinners, however.

Advertising is very low quality "information." There are a few exceptions like car or phone ads, where the product price is high and the advertiser has to contend with a somewhat educated audience. But other ads like food and luxury goods are heavy on symbolism and emotionalism, and not informative at all.

I guess I'm saying that the category is too broad. I'm disinclined to vote for it because advertising was not specifically mentioned.

They effectively control who gets to run for office by funding the major parties.

Every candidate for federal office since before I was born was approved and supported by the parties they control.

To some extent our candidates are scored by how well they suck up to the powerful, rather than any ability on their part.

Those pesky "Elites" are just as bad as the dishonest MSM, the corrupt FBI and DOJ, the evil Globalists, the Socialist Cabal, and George Soros. Man oh man, have they ALL made my life a living Hell. I don't have a clue how to think for myself, take control of my own life, live without the angst I am told to live with every day, my happiness, my sense of security, my willingness to engage with the rest of the world are ALL controlled by the Elites and those other groups who control my life. As a result I live a miserable life. And as a result of living a miserable life I need - desperately - to point out to everyone WHICH group of people are responsible for my misery.

Did I mention, also responsible for my misery: BLM, GLBTQ, Drag Queens, Woke minorities and women, Feminists, Foreigners, Muslims and Libruls. How much better my life would be without those groups. I might actually be a happy man.

Simple, they created a world where the power of the business owner is supreme and told us that they have a god given right to bribe public officials and called it free speech. Demonized every attempt to curb the class power that they wield and put in place the most terrible of despots to solidify their ability to exploit the resources of those least able to resist.

I am in full control of my life and thinking. The extent of U.S. government control over my life is income tax, nothing more. But isn't that pretty much how a representative democracy works, giving those elected the responsibility to think for us?

Can they truly not be able to live without what you create, or are you advertising/ marketing said product as something they can't live without?

Don't misunderstand me. I'm not mad. We sell ourselves every day. We sell ourselves to our bosses. We sell ourselves to our family. Most of us though don't have the guts or self-awareness to admit that. People perceive me one way, not knowing my true feelings about things.

The real question is;

How much of taking advantage of other people's fears is enough?

Those things are all true about how we control you. They were literally listed in a Powerpoint presentation entitled "How to control the poor-nonelite" at my last weekly meeting of the Weathy Elite Association.
