How a real President responds to political satire

Our Great and Glorious Leader (Praise be unto him) is above the common POTUS.

How does one use satire against one such as Dear Leader, whose very nature rises above satire?

Obama and other Presidents had regular occasion to duck jabs and barbs at the annual White House Correspondent's Dinner.

They did so in good humour, humble enough to grin as they took satirical incoming.

Trump won't do that. He can't laugh at himself.

Is Donald even capable of laughter?

The most humourless guy I ever saw in public life.

Dubya talking about the Dixie Chicks...

"The Dixie Chicks are free to speak their mind. They can say what they want to say ... They shouldn't have their feelings hurt just because some people don't want to buy their records when they speak out ... Freedom is a two-way street ... I don't really care what the Dixie Chicks said. I want to do what I think is right for the American people, and if some singers or Hollywood stars feel like speaking out, that's fine. That's the great thing about America."

Trump talking about Meryl Streep...

"Meryl Streep, one of the most over-rated actresses in Hollywood, doesn’t know me but attacked last night at the Golden Globes,” Trump wrote, adding that Streep was “a Hillary flunky who lost big.”

Once again, Trump makes Dubya look adult and reasonable. Only Trump could make Dubya look so good.
