One politician was claiming to be determined to get all the facts even about aliens from crashed ships and the stories about aliens working with military personnel. We have come a long way from the swamp gas rationale.

Lol

This ought to be right up their alley.

Lol

I look forward to finding out why space aliens cover their interstellar ships in disco lights when the crafts would have to travel faster than the speed of light.

Repukes sure know how to prioritize.

Ahh, I remember the early days of Project Blue Book. Nothing then, and nothing now.

The whole UFO and aliens from another world nonsense is just that, nonsense - save for scripting new movies about them every few years.

The House Oversight Committee can get a jump on the subject by watching reruns of Ancient Aliens.

Well, with any luck, perhaps the outcome of the investigation will put to rest once and for all the whole notion of UFOs and aliens flittering about in our skies.

Rationally, statistically, UFO's must exist somewhere in the universe. Do they exist anywhere close to earth is of course a different question. One thing however that is not really debatable is that the GOP House wasting time on yet another crazy 'investigation' will not improve the lives of the American people. If you look at all the GOP 'investigations' since they won control of the House committees, how many have produced anything useful for improving American lives? Then balance that against the $Millions that have been spent in those committees. How about some Republican supporters on here listing the recent GOP investigations that have produced a result that has improved our peoples lives?

Contact Was Wrong - Aliens Can't Hear Us
(14 minute YouTube video)

Summary: if the speed of light is the speed limit of the universe, our radio transmissions haven't traversed very far into space (aliens would need to be actively listening to even be aware of us) and return transmissions (or travel from visitors) would take just as long for a return trip. The odds of advanced aliens in our radio "bubble" is small and if there are, it will likely be many decades, if not centuries, before contact (electromagnetic signals or in person) occurs.

What if they get Area 51 to share the alien technology that harnesses zero point energy? That would solve a large number of problems for humanity. (And perhaps cause a couple new extinction level problems to circumvent.)

Waste of money/time.

We have millions of high definition cameras in the hands of millions of people now, and we still have shitty blob videos...that should tell you something.

Maybe the Alien Space Lizards in Congress will finally be revealed.

Hey, you can never tell when a party needs to be started so why not always be prepared?

I wonder if when finished they are going to tell us something we already know, like there are things flying around in our atmosphere that we can't identify? In this universe to think we are the only 'intelligent' beings is asinine.

This isn’t a partisan issue. Plenty of dems are on it too. Gillenbrand, Schumer..

People mocking the issue are just not informed about what’s been going on.

They undersetimate the threat of the Lizard People!

Gawd, aliens, x-sexuals, deep state. It's all the same to these people.

Goofballs just NEED something pulling the strings from behind the curtain.

Who said anything about lizard people?

The government is about to tell us “aliens” are real.

That’s is a huge deal whether it’s true or not. People should be trying to catch up instead of mocking it.

Anyone could be a lizard!

That isn't happening.
