That's hilarious. I can feel for him. I mean, would you like to haul someone around on your back?

Years ago, went to take a buddies coworker's horse for a ride after already been ridden by several. It walked shortly down the trail and turned right back home. Took no commands, said nope, done.

Horses are great animals. I rode for almost everyday for 20 years, continued to ride regularly for another 20 and occasionally for a few more. Miss it very much.
Horses trust the rider if the rider trusts the horse and treats it correctly. I had one run off with me on it's back when I was pretty young. We came over the hill and it saw the barn and we were off to the races. I didn't know much about how to take control in that situation then. I learned.
I'm waiting to see a horse as a comfort companion on an airplane.
