Hope is ending ....

I hope she feels so hopeless that she drags her gaggle off to some other country where she has more hope. I suggest Belize.
She's been doing that for the past eight years, on the citizens' dime. Lavish vacations with the family that only an Arabian sheik can match.

"For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country" - Michelle Obama after Obama's election win.
“We are feeling what not having hope feels like." - Michelle Obama at the end of Obama's administration.

No surprise here. She's just butthurt like the rest of the liberals who propped up a toad who lost to a clown.

Kinda like the uber-liberals who crave socialism, while watching it fail around the world. "It only failed because they didn't do it right!"

As far as I can tell, there's only group in the United States who will categorically benefit from a Trump administration: rich white men who are shareholders in internet service providers. Everybody else will lose something as a result.

In Mobile today at the last "THANK YOU AMERICA" Trump blew it off "I think she was talking about something else, the media got it wrong,,,,again"(Paraphrase).

Michelle Obama wouldn't know "the walk" if it hit her in her ratchet azz.

She was brought up a spoiled brat just like the other well off white kids.

The struggle must have really sucked in her Ivy League schools.

Brian Williams has more street cred.

Michelle Obama said something and it triggered this rant?

That'll never happen. Liberals are so convinced of their superiority that they will never accept the reality that their agenda has been outright rejected.

I have no hope for his adminstration. My family immigrated here and is half Muslim. A lot people are not feeling part of his future America. It may be great for you though.

How can someone be, "half", Muslim?

I am saying half of my family is Muslim.

I see. My mistake.

But, even your Muslim relatives will benefit from a more prosperous America.

That would be you with all of your stupid and hate filled posts.

I love this country. Unlike Michelle Obama, I've always been proud to be an American.

Your posts reek hate, nastiness, spewing evil and racism.

She has done more good for this country than you ever will.

Ahhhh...racist, eh? Where's the racism? Quote me. I dare you.

BTW - I despised both Trump AND Clinton for POTUS.

1) Trump lost the popular vote. There is no 'repudiation' when more people wanted her as POTUS then him.

2) I don't think this is a blow to or vote against Progressivism or Globalism. This was more about 'the economy stupid'...it is stagnating and leaving the under-educated, poor/middle classes behind (exactly who voted for Trump)...while the rich are doing well.
Trump came along and promised this and that (protectionism/patriotism/stronger military/stimulus - all useless and/or empty solutions imo, btw) - mostly aimed at the above but just enough aimed at the undecided to swing enough of them to his side.

3) Hillary Clinton was a TERRIBLE candidate. She was WAY ahead in the polls and blew it. She is arrogant, has little/no charm and is part of the establishment. Even many of her own supporters hated her. Just a decent Dem candidate probably would have secured victory for them.

If people think this is some fundamental switch - I think they are mistaken. Again, please remember...Trump lost the popular vote.

It is - imo - primarily a combination of a stagnant economy (with a Democrat in the WH over the last 8 years) and a lousy Democratic nominee...little more.

Unless your family immigrated here illegally and plans on breaking the law I have a hard time seeing the reason for your lack of hope. I think many people have this irrational fear that Trump is the devil and is going to come to your house and throw you out of the country. If the President had as much power as most seem to think we wouldn't have had the last 6 years of complete gridlock in DC.

Trump will be under more scrutiny then practically any president in US history. Republicans know if they let him get away with anything that is unconstitutional or harmful to US citizens it will be political suicide for them. I feel similar to Ben Shapiro's views on Trump, he is not a conservative but because he has hijacked the party and fails he has the potential to set back the conservatives for years. We are just now getting past the stain of W and Trump could end up being far worse. Liberals should actually be happy about Trump because he is the best chance for them to completely wipe out all the gains conservatives have made over the last 6 years.

I agree with a lot of your post. If Trump screws up, it could really hurt the party.

I am not afraid of being kicked out or rounded up. My issues stem from Trump supporters on a personal level. Many people I know what a Muslim registry and have said so. Even in this thread a poster is supporting a ban on future Muslim immigration.

It's all common Trump supporter stuff. Trump hasn't done anything yet. At this point, I fear his rhetoric and fear what his supporters want him to do.

Aside from that, I have concerns about a resurgent Russia. And I worry America may lose a lot standing, power, and influence internationally.

Trump is dangerous because of his gross incompetence and lack of humble deliberation. His supporters are disproportionately dangerous, because a number of them are deplorables.

It upsets me to see people I have known most of my life bombarding my fb feed with Trump support and Islamaphobia. They know good Muslims but they are worried about the other shadowy Muslims out there apparently.

I really don't think they would stand up for my rights if called to do so.

Sometimes it appears like the in thing to do in certain social groups.

I have always said that unlike my elected officials, I most feared my neighbors because I have heard more than enough to know that none of my rights would be respected if they had control of the system. Donald Trump's contribution is that he tells them that the thoughts that they share in "quiet" corners are right to be shared louder.

I can see your point, there are some Trump supporters that truly fit the deplorables tag. Sadly, you aren't alone in feeling unsafe. There seems to be just as many deplorables on Hillary's side causing violence as well. I am starting to feel like this country will never come together, which is the worst part of this mess.

I hate that you have to deal with that stuff. Due to my job I get the opportunity to work with engineers from around the world so have got to meet many people of different faiths and cultures. Much of the hate people have is generally from ignorance and irrational fears from seeing a small segment of a certain group and using that to paint the entire group that way.
