Honda Protoype Link

For when moving your wheeled office chair ten feet is just too much effort.

Is there a point to this thing?

The only reason I can see to use this over walking is if you're too fat to walk - and this thing looks like it wouldn't hold up under a slightly overweight person, let alone that...

I suppose if you had a large office with multiple computers running calculations or some such, a powered office chair might be worth it... But this thing isn't exactly that...

I suppose if you were a manager in a large warehouse/shipping facility, using something of this nature might be in order to get around rapidly - wait, is it faster than walking? But then, it would get tiring if you walked all the time... But a damn golf cart would almost be better in that case, since you could haul one or two others around in that thing...

It just seems pointless...

office mobility aides for lazy ****s.

We want people to be at their optimal body weight but..... companies make this crap to increase efficiency. Actually I dont see this doing ANYTHING positive for anyone. Its like the freakin Ipad. Worthless!

This link may provide a bit more info, if anyone is interested and didn't already find it...

Edit: The drive wheel system is interesting.

If you use if for anything other than a flowerpot holder, you shall be known as "that asscycle rider"...
