"Republicans deny, deny, deny and divert, divert, divert" I haven't seen one thread started by you that discusses the misconduct of any republicans caught up in recent scandals...you just prefer to bring up old scandals about "the other guys". I wouldn't say I'm mad about that. She should have been charged with a crime on that email fiasco , but I know how things go. You didn't expect a Democrat to initiate criminal charges against the Dem . nominee for President did you?

No matter that she hasn't been charged with a crime, I think we can both agree she's a dirtbag though, no?

Not really. I note the gnomes in the House used 8 seperate investigations attempting to find something, all to no avail. I think all the current yelling about the Clintons is just a diversion from the bumbling of the oaf in the White House.

Except... she didn't? She said they got or are being investigated, and that Franken apologized. Which is true.

And she's completely right about the GOP's cultural lack of accountability. In my OP on this topic a couple days ago, honestly, I really had to dig to find a single Republican who had taken any responsibility for their sexual misconduct. Ultimately, the only one I could find was Bush Sr., who left office decades ago, is 93 years old, and who everyone rightfully understands may be starting to lose control of his faculties a bit.

Granted, I'd say a minority of these men are taking any responsibility, on either side, just as a whole. But there is a complete and total lack of accountability within the GOP for this, not just from the accused, but from the party itself. Where's their ethics investigations, dude? Some of them are still telling people to vote for a child molester because "support the party no matter what."

The GOP bangs on about allegations being mishandled back in the 90's, in the era of legal spousal rape, but here they are doing an even worse job of it while the rest of society has moved forward and is now taking these things more seriously.

And yeah, it gets really tiresome watching them whine about an administration that ended almost 20 years ago when they're still doing it wrong now. And some of us won't be distracted by that.

The Dems are doing what they're supposed to be doing, now, in 2017, with the allegations they are being presented against their own. And that's all they can do.

What the hell are the Republicans doing other than wink-wink-nudge-nudging each other and willfully cavorting with pedophiles?

Would you be talking about Clinton if ONLY Franken was accused, out of all those recently-accused?

We should talk about any public figure being accused. We should also talk about accusers. And we should definitely talk about this seemingly society-wide problem.



Now, we certainly shouldn't talk about the Clintons if the point is to divert attention from a right-winger. But that's not to say "this isn't the time." Of course it's the time. It was always the time, but people tend not to come forward if they're going to be the first to push in chips.

Well to be honest the Dems are just protecting their own, and the fact that she has been putting up with Bill's crap all this time. Only shows that she is far too willing to let the likes of those other Dems with ablative sexual tendencies just slide.

The women who have come out against Moore are not really supplying any real evidence that anything happened. Even if something did happen, nearly every one of these women were of legal consenting age at the time. All of this crap just coming out, without any real evidence to prove their even being in the same room alone with Moore. Is not helped by the likes of Allred denying that the supposed signature be texted for validity, and even now I believe at least one of the women has already admitted to lying about her accusation.

Though at the moment, I am unsure of those claims. Seeing as I am running into sites that claim its true, while there are others claiming it as a far-right hoax. But even without that little tidbit, these allegations are still just that.

It is funny to see the liberal crowd, touting all of that same "believe the victim" crap as always. Only to forget the way they treated Bill's accusers in the past. Even Lena Dunham has stepped back on her own words, now that its one of her friends being accused.

Posters may give you **** for the OP, but it does call into question the democrats double standard on this issue. Apparently their party is the only one worthy of forgiveness in all of these things.

It depends on the bad deed. We look at things through a different lens today, than we did 20-30 years ago. Some things that are very inappropriate today, might have been slightly frowned upon years ago. I'm only talking about the 'pat on the butt' type of offenses. IMO, some of the complaints coming out on a daily basis is silly. Remember Groucho Marks? He would not be thought of as funny today. People who did things like that years ago, but changed with the times like everyone else, should not be crucified for it today.

Many of us knew Hillary is a hypocrite long before we knew about Moore or Franken.

A statute of limitations exists for a reason. There are many people who do some dumb things when they're younger and punishing an older more mature version of themselves who likely already understands their actions were wrong generally isn't fruitful.

Now in the case of Roy Moore and Donald Trump, these two **** heads refuse to accept responsibility for their terrible actions at all, and that is an indication they have learned nothing and still feel as though their actions were acceptable. If that is the case they never matured or learned their lesson, and are still highly likely to make the same terrible mistakes again. Both Trump and Moore continue to demonstrate themselves to be misogynits who have little or no respect for women. Given that half the country is made up of women, it is uncontionable to allow them the power to make decisions for them.

There is nothing you can accuse Hillary Clinton of that Trump, Roy Moore, and virtually every current leader of the Republican party isn't 1000 times more guilty of.
