So Rachel, are you proposing a new version of the Monroe Doctrine under the guise of fighting drug smuggling? That sounds like the very non-intervention position he took before where he was against foreign entanglements, and since these are all independent nations and not US territories, this reeks of being foreign entanglements. For the record, ISIS isn't eradicated and is still operating in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, and parts of Africa. If that's the example you're using, then we can expect the same result except in our backyard instead of the ME. You can put this back in your box of bad ideas, thanks!
