Me too.

My first thought was it was going to wipe out a mall or something.
 
Has anyone found the downed jet? Or pieces of it? Or any evidence of it? Haven't seen anything on the news, but we all no it didn't disappear into thin air...unless the aliens were doing a drive by and seized the moment to seize the plane....

Yes, I think the debris was found 60 miles away a day after the crash.

Austrian news media labeled this a "bizarre emergency call" ...

But what's bizarre about a pilot crash-landing near your house and coming in to call for an ambulance ?

I guess American pilots don't carry their mobile phone with them while flying ? So he could have called 911 himself.

I read the warplane flew another 100km after the pilot went out, because the software/autopilot still kept it flying until fuel went out after another system malfunctioned ...

Good that the plane crashed somewhere remote though.
