So why aren't Waltz's colleagues demanding the same? We're only getting what they want us to hear, tidbits and leaks made to the media. Who exactly does this benefit?

Why does a House representative need to be on a "proper committee" to see the transcripts?
Why all the secrecy? Why are we only getting what the Democrats want us to see?
 
Each and every Republican crying about how this is going needs to hop in a time machine and make all the Benghazi interviews public.

He gets nothing, he's crying like an ignorant fool, hoping other ignorant fools will buy into his crying.
This is all you have to defend Trump and Rudy's corruption? Crying about non-issues? Doesn't that shame you a bit Trix?

The investigation is ongoing. When the evidence is collected, it will be presented to the members so they can determine how they will vote.

Once it passes the House, it will go to the Senate, where Trump and his corrupt cronies can mount a defense, that will be mostly attacking everyone and everything else, other than refuting the facts.
The impeachment articles will in contrast, be about facts and testimony, will be corroborated, and damning.

To make matters worse, once Trump immediately attacked the whistle-blower, the people who confided in the whistle-blower, etc., with threats of being treated like spies, making remarks about the death penalty, they are now taking more precautions in keeping them out of the public spotlight. Trump has threatened witnesses, and they are being protected from you and the president for as long as they can. They won't even call the whistle-blower directly now...since they are not needed, and because of Trump threatening citizens who are doing good for the nation under law.

It is also cute that you think it is going to matter for the above mentioned congressperson's vote.
 

Now the Dems are calling this "taking depositions".
 

If they ask him to vote without giving him the transcripts then I'll start giving a ****. Til then he can go blow a unicorn.

Trump threatened witnesses, he's a danger to everyone.
Investigations are not done in public unless there is compelling reason to do so. There is compelling reason not to do so hear.

Congress will get the evidence before the vote. Your entire post/source is phony nonsense...crying like babies.

The trial, will be up to the defense how they want to conduct themselves. This is before the trial, the investigation. How could you not know this?

They have no such duty to release it right now. Stop lying. Wait, that's all you have isn't it? Citing snowflake, impotent minority Republicans who want to make this into a circus and attack witnesses, because they cant' defend against the facts and the law.
 

Its a really simple answer.

If you have the evidence you would go to the House to get an Inquiry vote. This would present the evidence of all criminal activities to all members of the house to get support from Republicans as well as voters. Not using the power of the house under these circumstances would either make you an idiot or show you actually don't have the evidence you claim you do. Kind of like what Schiff did when he claimed to have the evidence that would convict Trump of being a planted Russian agent and we all saw how that turned out.

Now coming off the most embarrassing 2 year Mueller investigation you want to have closed door sessions, kicking out Republican members, using anonymous witnesses, and we are all expected to just trust them to provide us with what they claim?

For those who can''t see the obvious they are either mentally deficient or just hate Trump more than they care about the constitution which is usually the case. You would have to be an idiot to believe voters are going to fall for this but Democrats really don't care about the continuing failures of the last 2 years. They know they can't beat Trump in an election and they know they can't get an Impeachment vote so this is all they have left.

Holding secret hearings and using anonymous witnesses will never get an Impeachment. They know this but when you have run out of options, desperation is all you have

Exactly. The House will assemble their case to present to the nation. The Senate will determine Trump's guilt or innocence. Knowing that:

a. The Trump GOP (which is the only GOP left) has denied, obfuscated, refused most every step of the way. The House must be meticulous and comprehensive in their final presentation.

b. As much of the nation relies on TV news bursts for their primary information, the House must attempt to present their facts with clear leads to obvious conclusions. If the information presented is involved and would require a bit of indepth reading most Americans will not read it.

Of course there are those Americans who do read and will want all the details in order that they can come to their own conclusions.

Understanding this the House is aware that time is of the essence. Also aware, the Trump GOP is doing everything possible to s-l-o-w down the House investigation process while at the same time demanding that the House hurry it up.

This akin to a grand jury. These matters are carried out in closed sessions so that if it turns out there is nothing there, the innocent are not unfairly slandered. If it turns out there is something there, then that testimony will be made available, just as a trial jury and the defendant gets to see and hear the testimony given to the grand jury behind closed doors. It also prevents witnesses from collaborating on their individual testimony. When the committees have concluded their work, they will make their recommendations based on the evidence and the testimony they have. The full house will be able to see that testimony and draw their own conclusions in due time. There is nothing nefarious about these proceedings.
 

Dems are scouring far and wide to find witnesses who will give them something to hang their hat on, and they're carefully curating the witnesses and their testimony to put forth as biased a case as possible, when they come out of the shadows.
 

He does not have to vote on impeachment yet, so why should he expect to see the documents yet? Damn logic getting in the way of your whine....

Claiming Pelosi can do what she wants to do just makes matters worse because that isn't the point. Voters know better and hiding testimony and refusing to provide such UNCLASSIFIED testimony transcript to the public is for one reason only. Democrats couldn't wait to release the Mueller report but are refusing to release the witness transcripts? You will NEVER explain that away to voters.

I for one am glad they have taken this approach. Voters aren't buying this BS and it just goes to show how dirty Democrats really are. But when all you have is desperation, what do you have to lose.

No party in their right mind would try something so visible stupid.
