Greetings Pilgrim! Welcome to the neighborhood.I am unsure what defines my social liberalism, so I just called myself liberal in the registration form. It does bring up a interesting point I would like to bring with me to this forum, social liberalism, something foreign to many outside Europe. I hope I can add this ideology the debates on this forum and not get smacked down too hard for being a pink liberalist.

Welcome to the forum
Welcome! So what's it like living in Denmark?I am unsure what defines my social liberalism, so I just called myself liberal in the registration form. pretty dope, just as an example, I have a personality disorder, and I go to shrink 2 times a month, a nurse specialising in mental disorders 4-5 times a month, and a recovery mentor 2 a month.. and its freeWelcome! So what's it like living in Denmark?
Ironically, some of those who could most benefit from such a thing here in the US are the same who oppose receiving it for free lol.I go to shrink 2 times a month, a nurse specialising in mental disorders 4-5 times a month, and a recovery mentor 2 a month.. and its free
Actually I was wondering more about things like, what are the people like, what are neighborhoods like, what's the way of life like?pretty dope, just as an example, I have a personality disorder, and I go to shrink 2 times a month, a nurse specialising in mental disorders 4-5 times a month, and a recovery mentor 2 a month.. and its free
good question, from what other people tell me, the people can seem a bit reluctant to engage in social things, so you need to breach a certain "social shield" but after that I think we have a interesting view on friendships and such where a relaxed companionship is key, Neighborhoods are generally safe, we have some ghetto's that are not as safe, but violent crimes are rare outside gang related stuff. Oh just to make sure you dont make this mistake, there are no mountains in denmark, we dont have especially harsh winters, it seems to be something people think denmark has. as for way of life we move along in a neutral stance, people feel secure in their lives, everyone has a strong safetynet that adapts well to local situations, we do ofcause still have massive inequality, but the middle class is by far the largest and our poverty level is like 0.5%Actually I was wondering more about things like, what are the people like, what are neighborhoods like, what's the way of life like?
Obviously this isn't all of Denmark, but when I visited Copenhagen I couldn't believe how good the bike infrastructure was. It was so easy to bike everywhere. I had also never seen "bike traffic" before, which was funny. Very good trams too.good question, from what other people tell me, the people can seem a bit reluctant to engage in social things, so you need to breach a certain "social shield" but after that I think we have a interesting view on friendships and such where a relaxed companionship is key, Neighborhoods are generally safe, we have some ghetto's that are not as safe, but violent crimes are rare outside gang related stuff. One time we had a hotel room that looked out over the main train station in Copenhagen. In the morning, there was a sea of bicycles and in the evening they were gone. It’s more impressive when viewed from above.Obviously this isn't all of Denmark, but when I visited Copenhagen I couldn't believe how good the bike infrastructure was. We're all Bozos on this bus.
Some Bozos even think their better than the other Bozos!
it is kinda complicated, but its basically social liberalism and I find that wikipedia put it pretty well, "A social liberal government is expected to address economic and social issues such as poverty, welfare, infrastructure, health care, education and the climate using government intervention whilst also emphasizing the rights and autonomy of the individua"What's a pink liberalist?
