Hegseth unveils new restrictions on Pentagon press access

I never said I was okay with them having access to classified information.
CUI and FUOU are not classified. I would have that that a yeoman would know that.
I am saying that there was an accepted norm in the pentagon until a confederated traitor became SECDEF. There were no issues before and there wouldn't have been had it been left alone.
So, just because it was a norm, we should continue to allow reporters access to CUI data.
The information these people get is checked before they are given access to it. Nothing even close to FUOU or CUI ever fell into their hands.
Sure about that?
This just more censorship by dumpletits because he dislikes the media and wants to punish them. The confederate traitor is merely the orange man's personal man-bitch.
No it isn’t. You need to let go of your hate. Go outside and touch some grass.

They have access. The Pentagon is just ensuring that capabilities are not revealed due to aggregation of unclassified information.

All that is required to do that is already in place. This rings of something else.

It's never been a problem before. We are dealing with paranoia from a confederate traitor. We're also dealing with a POTUS who has no respect for the law or the constitution.

FOUO could literally be almost anything the DOD or the government in general wants to keep out of the public eye without having to classify it. Most of the time, this information is only checked when it may be shared outside the DOD or other departments.

There has never been a problem with CUI causing issues. Most information the government generates is CUI. When have you, in the last 15 years, heard of an issue related to the press and CUI?

There was never an issue here. The confederate traitor is paranoid. Trump just wants control and the ability to punish people who disagree with him.
Sure about that?
Do you really think they would get access to information before it is cleared?

As I recall, this information, although it was not classified, was exempt from FOIA requests. That being said, there is a good chance that it would be reviewed before being shared.

What does any of this have to do with the press? They get to ask questions and are given certain information that can be shared; however, they are not allowed in areas where sensitive information would be discussed or even be present.

This whole damn thing is Trump retaliating against the press.

Yes, it is. He sent Carr after Kimmel because he did not like what Kimmel said.
