Nothing in America is looking up and yet all we keep hearing from the right are things like, give him more time. Some even claim he's doing a great job so I have to ask myself, what reality are they living in and does it exist on this earth? The right loves trump, he's going to help the base 'own' the libs. Not only do I see that not happening, I do see those same folks who want to own the libs, paying trump's rising prices right along with the libs they so desperately wanted to own...or if you choose to use another word beside own, how about control? The GOP is big on control.

Are you trump voters getting what you expected when you voted for trump? Did you envision prices going up, stock markets crashing and inflation once again closing in on America? Is this what y'all voted for?

Anyone on the right honest enough to say, I made a mistake with my vote?

I don't find this to be true.
They love being slaves to their king and are happy to suffer whatever punishment is inflicted.

I know people firsthand who came to regret their vote for Donald after 2016, and didn't vote for him again.

For those who voted for him 2-3 times, as well as supported Trumplican politicians? No. Right or wrong, MAGAs have had their intelligence, decency, patriotism, and commitment to Christ and/or Constitution questioned/mocked for nearly a decade now, and for those supporters who aren't fully convinced Donald is the Greatest POTUS in the History of Ever it's still too hard to confess to that level of error in the present day.

The best you might get is "I had no choice - yes he's terrible but the alternative was so much worse."

The Left Wingers are notorious delusional fanatics.
They believe that if they can turn their hate up to 11 it will convince mainstream Americans to support the radical left's destructive agenda.

Mainstream Americans uphold the Constitution.
Maga halfwits do not.

The left isn't currently destroying our the Federal government, our world reputation or the US stock market.

I doubt anyone will say they expect ex-Trump voters to go Democratic. Certainly not MAGAs.

One example - my mother is by no means MAGA but she has voted Republican her whole life. She regretted her 2016 vote for Trump, and in 2020 left the POTUS ballot blank. She voted for Trump in 2024 because she is old school, and feels the only thing worse than a Democrat in charge at that level of power is a woman. She thinks Trump is an abhorent human being, but felt the alternative was even worse.

I suspect a lot of Trump voters who aren't die-hard MAGAs have similar justifications.

When did the crazy left wingers start supporting the constitution?
The constitution was designed to protect the citizens from totalitarian government.

More bluster.
I will not support sending people (regardless of what color they are) to foreign gulags without due process.
I understand you do support sending people to foreign gulags without due process.
It as simple as that, yet you appear to still be confused.
Here's the entire text of the Constitution.
Perhaps if you read it you may have an epiphany.

The mind boggles.

So instead of electing an accomplished woman, they return a toddler to the White House.

Actually, I have read the constitution.
The MS13 thug had due process.
The judge denied him asylum.
The DHS has the right to deport him.

Like I said - she's old school and Southern Baptist. The latter tend to balk at the thought of a woman leading anything more significant than Sunday School.

I don't get it either but it is what it is.

My mother is similar except she learned the first time. She voted for Biden and Harris and worries about her SS check arriving. I get mine a week before her, so she's always curious. She hates Trump.

I understand.

My mother is disgusted by Trump and her 106 year-old sister, a matriarch surrounded by dozens of Trump supporting kids, grandkids, and great grandkids in a Ruby red state, says of him, "I do not like that man."

Yep, she still has her marbles.

I see.
So you've read the U.S Constitution,
You just don't feel the need to uphold it.

Was there anything specific about his first term that put her off? My experience has been that, for seniors, it was how he dealt wirh COVID that lost him their support.

That's flat out false unless you supply evidence. You can't, can you.

In fact, every one of your posts is flat out false. Falsity appears to be something you're shooting for, and it's obvious. Your credibility is nil.

She... feels the only thing worse than a Democrat in charge at that level of power is a woman.
It's probably more than that -- the Dem candidate was a black woman -- highly qualified, but for some, being a black woman erases all that. Apparently there are a lot of Americans who are closet misogynists and closet racists, some not so much closeted. What an embarrassment for the country!

I voted for Trump to stop the headlong descent into woke madness, fix the immigration crisis, reduce government bloat and to disengage from China.

Win, win, win, win.

I can only speak for my mother, and for her it was all about the female. She was unhappy when McCain chose Palin, for the same reason.

I'd say there's a bunch of old magas who are sweating it out right now.

And off topic, but I use voice to text constantly and whenever I say magas it always types maggots. I'm tired of correcting it.
