Another famous pilgrimage is the pilgrimage to Lourdes.

I have never been there.

But I have been to moncalieri in north Italy.

Because of Saint Bernard of Baden.
He is the Patron Saint of the former Grand Duchy of Baden, my home country.

Well known in Moncalieri as San Bernardo.

Of a sort. But I had a close call with a crocodile and turned back.

tell us more about it ….

Crocs can barely move on dry land. You have to be careful near water because they can lunge out of it, but one thing you really don't want is to be IN the water when one comes at you.

I stayed in a town. The floods subsided enough that I could get back over the same river in an SUV (with snorkel).

Totally negative learning experience. You could learn a thousand things NOT to do, but there would still be a thousand more.

Since I live in a state where cannabis is still illegal, I made two pilgrimages. A couple of years ago I went to california and visited my first ever cannabis dispensary. I liked it so much, I did it again a couple of years later. It was blissful. I HIGHLY recommend it to others.

I know someone who walked some of the Camino de Santiago. He started in Astorga and walked the last 280km.

A fabulous human ❤️

Dressed up as one once, in a Thanksgiving play we did in the Cub Scouts.

In Europe it has become fashionable to walk the Saint James way to the north of Spain. To Santiago de Compostella.
Hard Rock Cafe London. The Original.

Yes. I have made a pilgrimage.

I traveled once to Red Rocks Amphitheater to see Rush for 2 nights, from the 2nd and 1st row respectively.

I was going to, but I couldn't find shoes with the big buckles on them, so I went as Spiderman instead.
