have you ever changed your religion?

Yes- to atheist. The stimulus was study of all sorts of things- from science and philosophy, to psychology, history, sociology, and anthropology. The picture that emerges makes seeing religion as anything other than a purely man-made social construct and cultural artifact very difficult.

i am Catholic and sometimes thought of leaving ... for many reasons 😒

but then i thought ... a few honest and sensible persons .... like me .... should stay. 😎

and so i stayed 👍
Is it sensible to believe in some all powerful invisible entity that when we die we will all go up to the spirit in the sky? That kind of reasonable?

I was raised atheist and went Christian at 19 or so. My parents are still angry about that decision.
Believe what you wish and not what your parents want. Although I can say I kind of agree with your parents. I don't believe in invisible entities.

From the time my mind was maturing enough to really think about God, Jesus, Mary, etc. rationally, I had always leaned athiest.
Gave a decent bit of the bible a shot at one point, then became even more athiest!

Catholic to incorporating Buddhism as a guide instead of "don't sin" but never denied Christ..drifting back a bit as I age

and if so, which way?
Baptized in the Christian faith, I left organized religion when I was old enough to know better.

An early lesson...
In 7th and 8th grade we had exchange students from Central America. I went with them to Mass. After one service, with all the 'peace be with you' and brotherhood I left and in the parking lot two cars were screaming at each other about exiting the lot and one driver flipped the other off.

My first realization that 'Christians' were full of shit.
