Hateful republicans

It's quite apaulling to see how the cons have now fallen off the steep ledge and revealed just how truly hateful and vile they are. With Bush presidency all it was but simple partisan hacks making apologetic overtones.
Since it's been shown that Obama is taking a HUGE lead over McCain we see the McCain campaign what have we been hearing from the cons?
"He's a terrorist!"
"Terrorist appeaser!" "Kill him!"
These are but some of the common lines of roudy mccain rallies around the country now and much of it we also see in this forum.
The desperation of the cons on this site, even many that were previously level headed are even joining in this raucus.
It seems that democracy and freedom are only applicable for our cons when it's in their favor, when they are loosing it seems that anything goes.
When Gore lost in 2000, what the Gore supporters said was but foul play of Florida, no matter how you cut it, indeed it wasn't very fair, but lost is lost - pointless crying over spilt milk.
No one was screaming kill him or terrorist appeaser or any such rubish.
When Kerry lost in 04 same thing but again no one yelled to kill the president so openly.
Today, kill obama, Hussein, I've never seen such anger, roudiness and vile hatred at political rallies in my lifetime.
I hope the Republican party realizes the hate box it's opening with the character assassination and embrace of such rallies.
 
My GOP friends, who are mostly college educated, keep sending me crap about Obama, and I send back the snopes response to their charges. Doesn't stop them. This is what it has come to, an attitude that nothing good can come out of the adversary's mouth or mind, that only "our" side (dems do it as well) has an exclusive hold on the true and righteous path. Anytime any of us start thinking like that, it is proof that we have lost most of our intelligence and are eagerly trying to replace it with caca del toro...

You must have missed the swastika carrying Democrats outside the Bush rally, before he got elected. Somewhere there is a video tape pointing that out.
 
What really surprises me though is the desperation of this hatred. I honestly can not remember at anytime in past elections in particular any past presidential elections (even bush 2000 and 2004) had there ever been such display of hatred from either side.

I don't recall that no, but yes I do recall hearing about something similar.
But we're not talking about small congregations of but a few irrelevant masses. Turn on cspan and look at virtually every single one of the recent McCain rallies and you see these displays of this hatred.

Nope, just watched some of the McCain campaign rallies and heard the chants.
Not only that, the campaign says it does not condone this kind of rhetoric.
Listen for yourself, there's no crap spewed here other then what the supporters at the rallies are screaming themselves. You going to deny this?

I do not hate anyone who posts on these blogs.
I have a mild distaste for certain Moderator's, but that is something else.
I think that the reason for the hatred that is coming out in this particular election is due very much to people being and becoming very scared at what is happening with the US and indeed World economy.

Also because people see what they want to see. If anyone doubts wether hate comes from the other side, then look no further than Nancy Pelosi. She can spew enough hate to sustain the whole of the Dem party. :roll:

And you never proved Bush lied so that makes you a bunch of traitors, too.

The dems are supported by the denziens of Daily Kos, "democratunderground" and other seriously hate filled groups, but that's all good.

A Few Republicans get fired up and start yelling and the dems wig out...

I guess it's understandable, we DO have most of the guns, hunters and our men are actually real men and would kick the **** out of the lefties...

You're overreaching. How many McCain fans? I'm tiring of this. I'm not even excited about McCain and I didn't get a voice when it was primary time. I don't even really have a horse in this race. But you guys are blowing this **** out of proportion. McCain "fans" aren't screeching for blood. A couple of idiots show up at rallies and act like, well, idiots, and now it is "McCain's fans". Seriously?

I don't know anyone who wants Obama dead. I don't know anyone who wants him hurt. I just know lots of folks who don't want him to be the next President.

Because the Obama supporters are too busy talking in tongues and hallelujah-ing their messiah. It's hard to be angry and hateful when you genuinely feel like you are experiencing the Second Coming.
 
I guess people like Sandra Bernhardt saying Palin better not come to Manhattan or she'll get gang raped by black men isn't violent, hate-filled or sexist enough. Where the heck was NOW to respond to that?

Yet one unidentified wacko yells something at a rally, and all conservatives are hate-filled. I haven't reeeeallllllyyyyyy yet cursed on this forum (I don't think!), but I'm getting close to telling you jFUh what I really think.
