Has the tax on tips been abolished yet ?

Maybe not. But it will be the fault of Congress - not Trump.

Trump makes a lot of promises which are never kept . . . just like every other president during their campaign.

Although some of Trump's promises have yet to be fulfilled, he has accomplished more in three weeks than most presidents accomplish in FOUR YEARS.

Trump delivered on his main promise, which was to secure the border and deport dangerous migrants who have entered the U.S. illegally. This promise is why he was elected, and he made good on that promise.

I think Congress will approve Trump's plan to eliminate taxes on tips, overtime,`and Social Security benefits. However, it's entirely possible that Congress might flatly reject the rest of the budget reconciliation package, which of course would preclude any tax cuts on tips.
As I wrote, none of this is going to happen. The felon lied. Again.
He also isn’t going to deport millions of people here illegally as he promised. Why? Because deporting millions here illegally would cost the country billions of dollars AND, like it or not, we depend on immigrants in certain areas of our economy.

I’ll tell you what is going to happen just as I told you what was going to happen with his ill advised tariffs. He will deport a few people, probably numbering in the tens of thousands, mostly from the sanctuary cities and blue states. Then the felon will take “credit” for “winning” as he vastly inflates the number of deported people.
In other words, he lied again.

Not taxing tips or OT is irrational and nothing more than vote buying. It's one of the few things Trump is wrong about.
