Today is the first day of spring because the sun will cross the celestial equator moving from the Southern to the Northern Hemisphere. Of course, it's the earth that moves and not the sun. Take heart in the fact the sun and moon and planets continue on their appointed paths, the seasons change, and the world goes round and round, regardless of the devastation we humans continue to wreak on our beautiful blue jewel of a planet.

Disregard this if you're a flat earther.
