Hamilton mayor asks residents to report hate after CBC traces white nationalist 'active clubs' to the city

This is my bit of the province. These "active clubs" are white supremacist groups training for an eventual race war.

If you discover hate in your neighbourhood, report it.

That's the message Hamilton Mayor Andrea Horwath has for residents following a CBC News investigation which found members of white supremacist groups have been preparing for a "race war" in Hamilton-area gyms and parks.

Although the clubs portray themselves as promoting community, fitness and Canada's European heritage, some experts told CBC News they're a growing extremist threat.

"The minute you peel back even the slightest layer of this onion, it becomes far more insidious. These are virulent white supremacists. These are people that in many cases are training for what they believe is to be an upcoming race war," said Mack Lamoureux of the Institute for Strategic Dialogue. That U.K.-based think-tank studies authoritarianism, hate and extremism.

Undoubtedly local police and RCMP are monitoring these groups and it's encouraging that they're too stupid to conceal their activities (Gage Park...they're training in Gage Park!)

There's a long list of civil rights violations here.

I know a racist group is hard to defend, but from the article I see no laws broken UNLESS they can prove an attempt to 'create a harmful atmosphere", which I don't see happening.

Unless they can prove a violation of anti-hate legislation they're in the clear. Canada doesn't need "amendments", The Charter of Rights and Freedoms covers these assholes too.

As a reporter years ago I had some access to the files of the then new spy agency CSIS.

It wasn't who they were watching but how many! Thousands were under the microscope, everything from the "New Communist Party of Canada" to "The League" a bunch of heroin using insurrectionists closeted in Texada Island.

They had aerials of a variety of Marjuana grow ops, facial recognition software and a bank of computers just to watch......

So, yeah I suspect these guys are quite well known
