Al Jazeera English - News - Hamas Sets Terms For Israeli Truce

Also from the article:

Any ceasefire must include these terms. I am uninterested in Hamas' terms if they are unwilling to abide by what Israel is asking for. This is called "negotiating" as opposed to "making demands".

Of course, anyone who would just give into what Hamas' is saying immediately is a fool.

I thought it was interesting that they are now calling for a truce with Israel, though. As if this might (hopefully) mark some kind of a small turning point in the ongoing feud.

would Hamas be able to "simultaneously" halt splinter cell attacks on Israel?
