I would say that individuals and society is safer if it has an armed populace, yes. On the other hand, when the people are disarmed, tyranny takes over. We have thousands of years of war to prove it. But on the micro level its even more important. If I cant defend myself, who will?
I know of lots of places that have low gun deaths. Gun control works
These places are safer. Lower violent crime. What about the 60% of violent crime where guns arent used?
Why don't you go dig up that science for us?
What can you do about "more guns", or even the number of guns we have now?
We can talk about that too if you like. But I was addressing the assertion that more guns means people are safer.

Pictures of two places: one where there is complete freedom to own whatever guns you want. People use their guns all the time defensively and to prevent and deter crime and violence. The other has very strict gun control.
One is one of the safest places on the planet. The other is one of the most dangerous on the planet. Can you tell which is which?

Which one is Russia?
Well the science disagrees but more importantly this is not a solution to gun violence
Countries where gun ownership is practically banned have higher suicide rates than we do. So the science agrees with me that if people want to off themselves then they will find a way to do it. I don't think the Japanese or any other people are better at suicide than we are.
Culture is a factor. The US culture is clear. States with lax gun laws have high suicide rates
If culture was factor then anti-2nd amendment trash wouldn't have even brought up the fact that the US has more gun deaths than any other country. So don't sit there and try to play the its the culture card when you were just agreeing with other anti-2nd amendment trash on the gun deaths and how we needs more anti-2nd amendment laws.

Which one is Russia?
Are you saying black people are to blame?
No. Why?
Actually, the pic is Amsterdam.
LOL.
Like you’d know what to do with it.
But Russia has really strict gun laws. Aren't they as peaceful there as they are in Amsterdam?
Irrelevant, put it up.
And the discharge of firearms is also banned in most public places...
...its people that use the guns to kill thousands of times a year...
...and we saw how that worked out with the nazis and the commies and the British empire when they ruled over what now is the USA....
...In this country you're innocent until proven guilty...
...the only shooting of those three that was unpreventable was the Vegas shooting....
Gun usage save lives. Whats your answer to that?
But-but-but, when your would be King Obama was talking about the 2nd he was clear that his wasn't out to "take our hunting rifles". Well he wanted them all and people like you confirm it.
