Growing old is very strange

I just made 65 and was hard on my body for 4 decades. I can identify with what you’re saying.
Turning 65 this winter.
Yeah, bodily things are 'working' as easily and carefree as they used to. Seems like every time I turn around there's yet another 'issue' which needs attention of some sort.
No one escapes the tyranny of time and the toll that time takes on you.

Doing well financially, as both my wife and I are 'savers' and not 'spenders'.
There's a number of house related projects we need to complete, and we've just invested in the last set of grounds maintenance equipment (mover, snow blower, edger, hedge trimmer, mini-chain saw, etc.), all battery - no sense having under utilized gas engines around, just when you need them, they won't start due to being underutilized. The surprise is that they are all lighter and easier to use than their corded or gas counter parts, so I should be able to use them myself longer.

Life is but a vapor.
Yeah, it is.
But it's not the resources you are given, its what you make of them.

Look at You Old Man came about as I walked pass the mirror one day and realized I am getting old. Simple as that.
