Biden is derelict in his contitutional responsability to protect the states from invasion. His facilitation of the invasion is treason.
 
It's election year and Abbot is obviously doing a little 'campaigning' for the GOP, but I do have some sympathy for him over this. Forcing potential immigrants to come through official channels should not be a debate. It should be everyones joint goal. Not just to better control who enters the country, but to better help those who do enter. While I am sure that Abbot is using this to help the GOP campaign, I do think that the Dems are being stupid about this, and by pandering to the farthest left of their caucus over illegal immigration they are putting this years elections at risk. It would be much more sensible for everyone to tighten the border and then write new immigration policy to allow for more legal immigration if that is the intention.

It's actually the Republicans that are blowing up a border deal. But they're doing it on purpose so they've achieved their goal.

The decision itself doesn't matter. Public perception is that the supreme court is trying to take away Texas' sovereignty which looks bad.

Of course the decision matters. They have the final say. Case closed.

The federal government is responsible for immigration and the border. The states have never been.

If people don't know that they should learn.

Abbot is demonstrating to the nation what Joe I.I. Biden really wants.

If the Illegal Immigration president insists on nationalizing the Texas National Guard to remove any impediments to allowing an invasion from our southern border that's on him.

Time to impeach Biden and put someone in who is not openly violating the Guarantee clause of the Constitution.

Apparently the case isn't closed because the governor seems to be insisting on preserving the border and 16 Governor's seem to support it. Looks like no one cares what a bunch of nerds in dresses have to say about state sovereignty.
