This is unbelievable. I heard about this yesterday, but only saw the video this morning. Rep. Tom Emmer put out a tweet with a video of himself firing a gun and saying Nancy Pelosi must be fired. Tome Emmer is Chairman of the GOP National Committee, for God’ sake. He appeared on Face the Nation and defended himself mostly with deflections like, 'what about Steve Scalese', etc. Face the Nation moderator, Margaret Brennan was infuriated and confronted him head on. I give her a lot of credit for taking this guy on the way she did. This is yet another example of how the right promotes and defends violence by those on the right.

This has to stop!

Another republican with a gun, what's his point? Government by violence?

He done shot him a boomstick. Yee haw.

Gun fetishists who get off on the idea of armed revolt against a nuclear power will definitely love this.

And who cares if another rabid Republican takes things a little too literally? Our dear friends on the right will just do what they do best, feign shock and horror at the situation they desperately tried to help create.

Dont forget all the thoughts and prayers they will offer up after the carnage. Those matter, you know.
