GOP lawmakers pressured by ex-colleague to put 'Pam Bondi under oath' as walls close in

Republican lawmakers may have no choice but to call in Attorney General Pam Bondi and put her on the spot, under penalty of perjury, to get answers on what the Department of Justice has on Jeffrey Epstein, according to a former Republican lawmaker.

During an appearance on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," to talk about the war over redistricting that is spreading across the country, ex-Rep. Carlos Curbelo (R-FL) moved on to the Epstein crisis that has the White House on its heels and GOP lawmakers scrambling to distance themselves as evidenced by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) sending his caucus home early.

Bondi appears to be on her way out.

Why would GOP lawmakers feel the need to do anything an "ex-Rep" thinks needs to be done? Does Curbelo have some kind of power even though he's no longer in the House?

MSNBC puts on a never Trumper to make their wild claim he is pressuring GOP lawmakers.

Not!

----------------------

In the November 2018 general election, Mucarsel-Powell defeated Curbelo with 50.9% of the vote to Curbelo's 49.1%.

Reflecting on his election loss, Curbelo said the Republican Party "has to understand that if we're going to have a small government, free enterprise party in America, that Trumpism isn't the future for such a party.

Post evidence that it is not happening if you have it.

You saying that's what we have? LOL It's a criminal government complete with a felon president. Remember, some of us are outside your cult and actually know what's going on, in fact, it's obvious to anyone outside the right-wing cult of criminality and sedition.

Bullshit post.

I took the time to look at the political background of Carlos Curbelo.

"In March 2016, Curbelo said he would not vote for Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, calling it "a moral decision" rather than a political decision"

Easy to say. Now prove it. 😏

there's more..............

Donald Trump

In March 2016, Curbelo said he would not vote for Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, calling it "a moral decision" rather than a political decision.
Good for him, a rare example of a republican with some morals, he deserves some praise.

His back ground has zero to do with trump being a convicted criminal on several fronts which is what you are trying to defend.

It's a claim not supported by any facts.

Again this person is a never Trumper and went to MSNBC to run their stupid mouth.

A never-Trumper is someone who thinks for themself.

Most of the established Republican party were never-Trumpers after Trump initiated his campaign in 2015. Many claimed they would never support him, and had very critical things to say about him in giving their reasons. One by one, most of the Republican party either a) caved under pressure, or b) left the party.

Those who caved under pressure only did so to save their jobs. Their original opposition to Trump was honestly how they really felt. After they caved, they had to begin lying and pretending they support him, but they really don't. Instead, they say what they are pressured to say and vote how they are pressured to vote. Regardless of whether they truly believe in Trump or like it, this is what they have to do to keep their jobs.

Living a falsehood.

If they don't keep up the ruse, they get publicly insulted and verbally bullied by Dysfunctional Donald, and his hateful followers are ready to turn on anyone who Trump makes derogatory remarks about. Trump has essentially insulted himself into power and increased his power under the threat of further insults. He is a bully.

Trump's power comes from offering simple solutions for complex problems to his extremist base. These solutions, such as deporting immigrants to 'fix' the economy are destined to fail because they are not well researched by data and experts, but instead rely on social media rumors. Because the policy is flawed, Trump is now using his power to distort the reporting on jobs and the economy to make it look better than it really is.

This is not good governance. It is an authoritarian seizure of power and the dismantling of freedom and rights. It is anti-Constitution and anti-America. It will not make America greater. It is pushing America towards fascist dictatorship.

Trump is a racist and a rapist and a convicted felon. He is a skilled liar and a con man. He belongs in prison.

Question #1: Were you told by President Trump to redact his name from any Epstein documents?
Question #2: Was there an Epstein "client list" back in February?
Question #2(b): *(If above answer is "yes") Where is it now?

We understand you hate Trump.

Republicans feel no pressure from this nobody of a person.

That's what you have to do. Make up things about people you don't even know. I never once said I hate anyone. There's no quote of me saying that.

But I get it. This is what you have to do to support the lies.

Instead of admitting the truth you don't want to admit, you have to make up things about people.

I actually feel sorry for Trump. The reason he is a bully is because he was seriously neglected as a child. He couldn't have any friends because he was a millionaire's kid and other kids who weren't millionaire's kids were all suspect of only having anything to do with him because of his money. His father was obsessed with wealth, a workaholic. His mother was sickly and feeble. Donald didn't get much love and attention. Donald became a bully just to get attention. He glued his brother's legos together. Just to be mean, but really to get attention. His mother wouldn't punish him. She would say wait till your father gets home. But his father rarely got home before 10PM. And then he would do little to nothing. No punishment. No consequences. No attention. The real punishment was Donald never got the attention he needed as a child.

That's why Donald is so obsessed with getting attention all the time. He substitutes attention for human interaction. He can get attention by being an asshole. He gets power by appealing to extremists to build political power, and then bullying the entire Republican party into supporting whatever he wants to do, no matter what. Oh, and he thinks he's perfect. He's got Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Look it up. I dare ya. It describes him to a T.

You can talk about people in the third person and make up things about them all you want. What you can't do is justify supporting Trump. He is a monster. He is addicted to attention and he will do anything to get it. If he has to be the biggest most flaming asshole in the world to be the center of attention then that's what he will do. Giving Donald attention is like giving booze to an alcoholic. He only wants more. He can never get enough attention.

That's because he has no real friends. His one (severely dysfunctional) friend that he had is dead and he's implicated in a child sex ring. Donald is scared shitless he'll lose the House to Dems and they will investigate him and bring it all out. The time he raped a 13 year old child. Much of maga wants to just look the other way, make things up about people, do anything to avoid admitting Donald really did this horrible thing. But many will be drawing the line right there. They can swallow a lot,. They can tell themselves 'god' works in mysterious ways, but this will be too much for them. Donald might lose power.

So he's trying to rig the next election by pushing for redistricting when it's not supposed to happen. And it gets him attention. Donald isn't too hard to understand.

You must feel so accomplished after typing this up.

Do you feel better?

MSNBC has managed to sucker it's viewers yet again with another misleading interview.

That's what you have to do. Try to make it about me. It's pathetic how you try so hard to obfuscate the issue. Anything but talk about the one thing you're trying so hard to deny. You are supporting a child rapist.

This whole discussion is about somebody who quit the Republican party because he didn't want to support the monster.

He's not protecting his job like the one's who still have to face another election. He's not protecting his power like Donald.

He's free to demand there be accountability.

There's not supposed to be an all-powerful president. There's supposed to be a balance of government power. The 3 branches of government are supposed to provide checks and balances so that no one branch of government is too powerful. Donald doesn't give a shit about the Constitution. He wants all the power for himself so he can get away with whatever he wants. So that he can cover up this terrible thing he did, this crime against a child that he committed. What a terrible thing to do.

She was tied to a bed. Donald ripped her clothes off as she pleaded with him not to do this. He ignored her. The more she pleaded, the more it turned him on to be so powerful he could just take her without her consent. Donald Trump forced himself on that little girl and terrified her.

Later on in life, she built up the courage to sue him. She got the wrong lawyer. Donald's crack legal team found a loophole, got it thrown out.

She tried again. This time she had a better lawyer. The case was valid. Suddenly she withdrew the case. Refused to make a public statement as to why. We know why. She was threatened and her family was threatened. Donald paid a thug to go tell her if she went through with it she would regret it. She got told that Mr. Trump is so powerful that he is getting away with what he did even if she has to die to make that happen. She backed off.

The files are a public record. Trump can't bury this. He is afraid Democrats would bring this all out, that he will lose support. If he loses the support of the Republican party they might do to him what the Republican party did to Nixon after they lost support in him. Donald could get told to resign or face impeachment without Republican party support. Donald might be able to shoot somebody on 5th Avenue, but this child rape might be too much.

The fact that you keep trying to make this conversation about me is very telling. You can't look the other way fast enough.
