Until the Republicans get a $60 million "independent" counsel to investigate Pelosi and try to throw her out of office, their hatred of Pelosi is in no way more than Clinton. Republican hatred of Clinton is surpassed only by Democratic hatred of GWB.Talk about desperation. GOP hate for Pelosi surpasses even that of Bill Clinton, and it seems that hate is clouding their judgment to the extent that they cannot even get their attacks right anymore.
Bush is an incompetent stubborn moron; Clinton just couldn't keep his pants up.Until the Republicans get a $60 million "independent" counsel to investigate Pelosi and try to throw her out of office, their hatred of Pelosi is in no way more than Clinton. The Democrats have a bigger hatred of GWB than the republicans have of Clinton? Lets see, the republicans wasted 100s of millions of dollars of taxpayer money to find out that Clinton is a man and has urges... Now has the Democrats so far wasted 100s of millions of taxpayer dollars on useless investigations into the doings of GWB? no..
Even 6 years after Clinton left office, quite a few republicans it seems are still hell bent on villianizing anying Clinton does or says.
Now if Clinton went up against Bush in an election today.. who would win?
Wouldn't matter. The people would lose either way.
One jealous opinion with no way to prove it and one irrefutable fact.Bush is an incompetent stubborn moron; Clinton just couldn't keep his pants up.
'Shortly after the Republican party made a big stink by accusing Nancy Pelosi with copyright infringement, because she was using C-SPAN material in her web site, C-SPAN notified them that the footage was in the public domain, and they were forced to issue a retraction.
So lets see what has happened so far:
1) Republican attack against Pelosi on the American Samoa provision in the minimum wage act is shown to be untruthful. Strike one.
2) Republican attack against Pelosi on the military plane issue is shown to be untruthful, and Pelosi is even defended by the White House itself. Strike two.
3) The Republican against Pelosi on the C-SPAN issue? Also untruthful. Strike three.
Talk about desperation. GOP hate for Pelosi surpasses even that of Bill Clinton, and it seems that hate is clouding their judgment to the extent that they cannot even get their attacks right anymore. Remember the game Battleship? There is a new edition of the game, which contains swiftboats. Those boats have been sunk.
Article is here.

I know, this is crazy. Who would have ever thought that one party would try to smear the figurehead leader of the other?
It's a good thing the Democrats have risen above it and never tried that with bush.
I really wish we could get away from this mentality that says, "Well, that side does it too, so why single out this side?"
When did I say it was okay? I think its idiotic for both sides when they do this. However, its always worth it to remind people that both sides are equally sleazy, lest they get the idea in their heads that someone is pure.
I completely agree with you, that's why I used the term "We" to incorporate myself into that comment. It seems we all fall victim to it.
