Google has a shiny new Quantum computer and it's fast...like really fast:

It can solve a complex calculation in under five minutes, taking the fastest classical supercomputer around ten septillion years to complete.

What makes Willow unique is that Google seems to have solved the error rate that's been a problem.

For nearly 30 years, one of the fundamental roadblocks for quantum computing has been its reliability. As quantum systems add more qubits (the quantum equivalent of classical bits), they tend to become more error-prone. That's where Willow's design is a game changer. It reduces errors exponentially as it scales up its qubits, a feat that no previous system has come close to accomplishing.

Isn't it pretty!

Oh fu**. I deal daily with Microsoft trying to change my search engine to Edge....I think I'm in for a new level of hell..and I'm over it. If google has solved it, I'm there!

Last night Stephen Colbert unveiled their motto...

"Google Willow - we'll let you know when it can stream porn".
